Unfortunately every single bottle ended up braking about 2-3 uses in, rendering them useless.

unfortunately, the bottles are not as big as one would wish but it took me and my daughter through exactly 3 weeks of bite free hoplidays in the jungle....of course, deet its terrible for us all....but malaria or dengue are worse so 5 stars....been using this insect repellent for all my tropical trips for many years now...it still remains the best of the best

The smell of this product isn't the most pleasant, and it's a bit oily, BUT I've used this many times on trips abroad (Brazil, Indonesia, Vietnam) and it really works. I was diligent about putting this on during all my trips and I never got bit my mosquitos — I usually am a magnet for them. The one time I got bit 3 times in the span of 3 hours is when I took a shower in the middle of the day and forgot to put more deet on... but that's how I realized it works when you use it!

Best insect repellent for all types of bugs

I love this product, goes on the skin softly and not greasy, and best of all is it does not smell like DEET even though it has a large concentration of that active ingredient. The only reason I've given it 4 stars instead of 5 is the bottle tends to leak at the top, making it difficult to carry around in my purse for fear it will spill on my other items. That said, I will put it in a little sandwich ziplock bag before I go back to using aerosol DEET sprays that made me cough up a lung.

I play a golf course which had a lot of sand gnats. I had tried every spray and lotion out there. This spray seemed to help more than others. I am not sure how it will do with mosquitoes but it did seem to help with the sand gnats. It did not completely keep them away but it worked much better than any other spray I tried.
