I bought these due to the numerous reviews about how great they are for cat food. My cats have cat acne (yes it is a real thing I checked haha), and so I was advised by the vet to get them food bowls that are stainless steel or glass. I went for these due to the many great cat bowl reviews, however I made the mistake of reading the reviews over the description as they are just far too small for your average cat food pouch. I've photographed the bowl next to a kitten pouch (smaller than an adult pouch), and it would perhaps fit about half a pouch into the bowl without overflowing. Good for Single kittens perhaps but not ideal for us for daily use as simply too small. As for the quality... they feel really solid, nice thick glass and they look very appealing too. Overall I'd say for the quality they are brilliant value for money, however for your cat dish you need to look for something slightly bigger.

My cats are allergic to ceramics and I'm really not a fan of eating off of metal so I went looking around for good glass alternatives. Most of the best stuff I found wasn't really designed for animals at all, these included. These make absolutely perfect cat dishes for 1/4oz or 1/2oz servings. The shallow bowl shape helps keep everything in the middle without leaving any inaccessible corners or crevices for the kitties. If you happen to have two cats like I do, you can actually use one bowl to scrape the uneaten food out of the other bowl because they perfectly contour to one another. They weigh enough that the cats don't constantly push them around the food mat and they stack incredibly well in the cupboard. Add to that, they fit perfectly in the top rack of our dishwasher and they're surprisingly durable. Really just a winning package at the perfect price. Not entirely sure what these are intended for but our cats love them.
