I tried 11 different wireless systems and this one was surprisingly the best
2025 update: Recently, I have not had the drop out problems. Drop outs are always a potential problem with 2.4G and all the interference that could potentially be in your area. This system continues to work well an I still use this system every day. After over 4 years, these are still working well while the other 2 systems I bought (a 5.8G system and a UHF system) have both suffered from one the batteries failing. My UHF system recently degraded to just 2 hours play time while gigging twice this past week. This Lekato system was the back up that saved the day. I'm now on the hunt for a new UHF system. ------- 2024 update: After 3 years of constant, almost everyday use, these now have drop outs - the sound will cut in and out. Probably 2.4G interference as if missing one packet or so. ------- I didn't want this one to be the best because it is just 16 bit while the others were 24 bit. But after trying out all of the other systems (a mix of UHF, 5.8Ghz and 2.4Ghz systems), this one rose to the top. - This one had the best tone, so I guess the 16 bit vs 24 bit doesn't matter. - Lower hiss than many wireless systems - It is very close to sounding like my cable so I don't have to tweak my settings if i have to switch from wireless to cable in the middle of a gig. - sustains a note just like a wire does - all of the UHF systems I tried choked the sound off like a noise gate had been applied. - very quiet when plugging in or out hot - the best of the lot at this. So quiet, I wouldn't even worry about hot plugging as I would with the other systems or a cable. - It tells you which channel it is using and it is easy to switch if there is interference. In fact it was the best at switching channels with just a double tap on the pairing button on the transmitter - you don't even have to touch the receiver. - 8 to 9 hour battery life! We do play an outdoor gig that goes that long so that will be a great feature. Most of the others were about 4.5hrs which is fine for most gigs. But 8+ hours is a luxury. - The lights look cool. - The plug has great flexibility so it works on all my guitars really well whether the jack is on the face of the guitar, the side of the guitar, or recessed like on a strat. - the on/off switch is a slider switch so it does not break as easily as a button or accidentally turn on as a button does. - All these features, and it was $20 cheaper than the unit I liked second best, and $10 less than most of the rest. Great value. By the way, i also wrote reviews of the other units I tested telling why I returned them. The UHF units went back because they did not sustain notes like a wire does. The other 5.8Ghz systems and 2.4Ghz systems went back mostly because they just didn't have the complete package that this one does. But honestly, I probably could have gigged with any of them and been very happy.

Works great, great sound quality! Does not work everywhere!
I love this wireless set up! I used to have the old bulky wireless set up but didn't love the set up part of it every time I had to stay. This was the ultimate solution without the worry of popping in batteries like the typical system. I've compared this unit to the guitar cable and my old bulky wireless system and there is absolutely no difference. It transfers full sound quality! Caution! Due to it's nature of running off 2.4ghz signal you run the chance of interference. The unit works at my house, works at my friend's house where we have band practice, but does not work at my church (had to buy a different brand that runs off uhf signal for church). For it's price tag it's still well worth it with it's construction quality and sound quality. I am not going to knock it for not working everywhere, it is what it is. I still highly recommend this unit to everyone as long as they are aware that it runs some chance of not working everywhere and have a backup plan just in case.

Good Value but...
Update 05/2023: I've now used a Lekato pair for nearly two years now, as previously mentioned the charge release rate has reduced to about 4 hours. I do have to give some kudos though, originally, my first pair failed fairly quickly - I suspect that the wire through the hinge was the culprit. The seller promptly sent me a new set, that was pretty cool. I'll also say I use these almost exclusively at open mic nights, not only can I freely interact with the audience, I can also check the mix from different points in the room for adjustments. The pair have been reliable/durable, noise-free, and lag-free. I also carry a USB battery power bank with me, if I'm going to play for more than two hours, I usually plug the pair in for some extra charge when taking a break. Value wise, honestly - these can't be beaten, for the money, they compete well with far more expensive wireless systems for a one to one type of connection. --- I've been using the LEKATO product for 6 months now, and it does perform very well, very little lag & good tone. For the price, really no complaints, it is a great value. After 6 months; I've noticed the battery discharge rate is increasing, that is... needs recharging more often. I could initially go about 8 hours on a charge... down to 5-6 now. If that pattern continues, then these will go into the trash in 12-14 months. If you are a bedroom noodler, this shouldn't be a problem - but if live performance is your thing, have some cables handy or some other back up solution. I'm writing this today because of an issue that I encountered; after testing this scenario many ways and looking into various specification, the problem is the LEKATO, not my setup. I recently acquired a Taylor T5z, it has discrete electronics that provide power to 3 pickups, known as their ES or Expression System. Taylors ES also has a balanced output, which is incompatible with the LEKATO un-balanced product. Not a real show stopper as I typically use passive PU's on my other guitars. However, I must cable the T5 to the amp, for those unaware, it is best to use a TRS cable for these types of balanced outputs. Simply put: owners of guitars with balanced outputs like the T5 will not work with the LEKATO, the amount of gain required to make the signal audible is ridiculous, and will produce more noise than guitar sound.

Amazingly Good Quality
I ordered this Lekato guitar wireless system just to see if it would be any good, and I’m just astounded that it works so well. I was about to say “for the money”, but I won’t. I remember around 20 years ago, trying a wireless system with my guitar which, as I recall, worked this well and cost undress of dollars… It sounds very good! I have not had the time to try to do an A-B comparison of the Lekato wireless vs cord, but to my ears, the fidelity is excellent, and I have used it with both an acoustic-electric classical guitar, and a Stratocaster. I’m also very satisfied with the range; although all I really want to do is eliminate some “cord clutter”, I have tried walking away from the amp, and I estimate I got about 60 feet away before the sound started to break up; and this was indoors with walls in the way. “Pairing” the receiver and transmitter is no problem at all, and the package includes the dual USB cable for charging both units simultaneously. The longest I’ve used them so far has been 2 ½ hours, so I have not been able to test the battery life, which they claim is 8 hours. I had decided to get another set of these, and got on Amazon to make another purchase, and was blown away to find the they just happened to be doing a 50% off special deal, so I wound up getting TWO more of these for the price of one. When they arrived, I immediately tried connecting two different guitars, each with its own wireless system. I paired up both receivers and transmitters, and they worked great; no interference between them. So, bottom line, I’m very happy with this purchase: very good quality guitar wireless system at a ridiculously reasonable price.

Good Bang For The Buck
This version of wireless Lekatos definitely improved upon an earlier set I had. The sound of these are clearer and don't feel gated like the last. So far, the battery has held up well. With one initial charge, I've performed 3 gigs. I'm keeping a cable close by in case the battery warning lights start flashing but I'm seeing how far these will go on a single charge. I can't speak of range yet because I hadn't wandered off too far. The only con, at least for me is that the on/off switch is too close to the channel switching button and you can accidentally press it and get delayed until the two units link up again. It's doesn't warrant taking off stars but could definitely be improved upon in that area.

So far So good
Shipping and arrival were fast. They came with the batteries charged. They connected and worked the first time I plugged them in. I experienced no noise from them. I'm only using them at home in a small room without other wireless instruments. They work just fine so far.

Don't waste the money!
If I could leave a NO star I would. I have been in the professional music business for 40 yrs. My other brand works great but thought I would get a cheap backup as I tend to misplace some stuff. These do NOT work. I cannot get more than 10 ft away and they go fuzzy or cut out. I have tried them at 2 different venues and with no interference from our other wireless. I have turned our others off and even unplugged everything and they are crap. Sending back for refund,, no thanks!

Reliable Wireless System That Just Works
These work flawlessly. Pairing was quick and easy, and I've had a solid, reliable connection every time I've used them. I haven't noticed any dropouts or noticeable latency, and the sound quality is excellent for both practice and jamming. For the price, these are fantastic value and perform much better than I expected. If you're looking for an affordable wireless guitar system without compromising reliability, I'd definitely recommend these.
