Great Storage unit
I bought this to use as a file server with a Raspberry Pi. I used two 4TB drives in independent mode initially and it worked a treat. So good in fact that I tried it in RAID 0 and RAID 1 modes and plugged it in to a Mac and Windows PC. Performed close to max speed of the USB 3.0 ports and is now back to two independents discs, one as a file server, the other video. In my case An inexpensive way to reuse old drives. Highly recommended!

Not worth it - useless.
Stopped working ('the disk structure is corrupted and unreadable') less than two months after installing. This kind of device should be of the 'set it up and forget it' kind. If you can't trust it to work properly, it is quite simply useless.

Great sized device with speed
Easy to set up with the included clear and simple guide. Installed my one two drives for a RAID 1 and things were up and running without any issues. Speed is amazing even with this “only” being a Gen 1 device. Smaller than expected which is icing on the cake.
