Five Stars, Mom Loves It Too
"super for team games @ picnics...especially for all the people between the ages of 15 - 65....you know the ones that don't want to get up off their duppa (since their not use to doing that)...i had several different kinds of rubik's cube & made games out of the both for personal use & also for team activities...fun was had by everyone!!!" - amarok "My 8.5yr wanted to try a Rubik’s cube and we thought this would be great for him. So far he loves it. Great size for small hands. Would buy again." - Lulu "I bought this for my son for his 10th birthday and he LOVES it. I love it as a 41 yr old because I can actually solve ONE side. Don't laugh....this is huge for me. I was never able to solve my cube as a kid. I probably play with it more than he does." - Me "My fiancé is an avid Rubik's cube fan. I purchased this cube for him, and he loves it!" - Dee "Decent 2x2 cube with colored tiles instead of stickers. It's a nice size to carry around for quick cube-solving. Provides a good change of pace from the standard 3x3. However, it's not extremely smooth to turn, and it's quite noisy." - Ender Wiggin "A nice little Christmas gift for a grandchild and the adults enjoyed it too." - Dotpy "A Christmas gift that was perfect for the recipient and appreciated by them." - Thomas A Brant "Very cool and love how it has no stickers. We also have the 3x3x3 cube (original) and I can solve it (with some help). I have not figured this one out yet, it seems harder to me than the 3x3x3. But a fun toy and neat how toys like this are coming back so I can enjoy it with my children. Not to mention, it doesn't take batteries, doesn't have a screen and is great in the car or anywhere for some challenging fun." - Dave "Cute stocking stuffer or gift. Cute but not easier than the original." - Herb & Anna "Arrived in great shape! My kiddo really likes it! It is durable and handles all of the fast turning smoothly. We purchased a cube from another vendor, not worth it. Stick to this Rubiks brand!" - M

A must if your stuck at home, nothing to do, or just lame like me!
This was actually my very first cube that I put back together after two days of receiving. It’s not easy but it’s also not hard. I don’t know why people are complaining about how hard it is and they blame it on the sellers like they had anything to do with it. It’s a 2x2 all you have to do is move the pieces around. But anyways! It came in great condition besides the bent box but I didn’t really care about that unlike other people who might be buying this for a present. The product is a great quality and we dropped it few times already but surprisingly not a single piece came off! I would definitely recommend this for people who are looking for something to fidget around or to actually learn and get to know the puzzle and then move up to the 3x3, 4x4 and so on!

Amazing, good job Rubik's
I received this product fast and I love it! It's incredibly easy to solve once you get the hang of it and it's also a great stress 'ball' (cube). Not only that, but it has no stickers! Thus, you don't have to worry about buying new stickers. All in all, a great, fun cube at an affordable price with fast shipping? Nothing beats that. P.S Also be sure to check out my other review on the 'Kaleb Kendama Unpainted Plain Beechwood And Extra String' that I made on June 21, 2012 as well as my review on the 'Bicycle Poker Size Standard Index Playing Cards(assorted Colors) ' which I made on January 1, 2014.

Lock up is the worst part
Haven’t fully broken it in because it’s difficult to turn. it locks up even though I’ve lubed it up. corner cuts are non existent but that’s expected. My 3x3 rubiks wasn’t even as bad as this, I will continue to attempt to break it in and see if that helps at all. But of course, it’s rubiks brand, if you’re slow and patient, then this cube may be worth the $7 after breaking it in. UPDATE: after a few days of solving after lubing the cube, it finally broke in. it’s significantly smoother than it was out of the box, but that’s with any cube. It doesn’t lock up to the point where I can’t move it, it’s still stiff with some moves, but it’s rubiks brand. overall I brought my rating up to a 4, if you want a puzzle that’s entertaining, go for it. It’s easier than a 3x3, so if you know how to solve that then you can easily solve this.

Hey even old dogs can learn old tricks!
So I grew up in the '80's and my siblings and my solution to Rubik's was to peel off the stickers and put them on the right sides. Another solution we had: pull the corner piece off and take it apart and then put it back together. So when Rubik turned 40, I thought I should learn the "real way" to solve it. I had read some reviews and they said the 2x2 was easier than the 3x3. I thought okay, let's give it a try! I gotta say it took lots of time figuring this little terror out! Even with the diagrams and instructions on rubiks.com, I was like "What?!" It felt like I was back in Calculus class and I felt like a numbskull. I'm more of a Algebra/statistics/accounting type of mathematician. Go figure. But what it boils down to is memorizing three formulas (Hey! We are back in Calculus!) Once I had memorized those formulas, I began to watch the cube turn, and then the real bank came. Sometimes it was easier to modify the formulas a little. Overall I like that this product. I like that it doesn't have the stickers (which can fall off or turn up at the ends). The colors are plastic built into the cube. And it's a great stress reliever at work, on the bus, at home, etc. Calms the anxious mind. Mine is a little stiff, but with time it should get a little looser. I didn't have any problems with mine, just my brain trying to get the system, lol. [I'm the problem.]

Me parece muy buen producto, lamentablemente me parece algo caro para el tamaño que tiene, otros modelos tienen mejor rotación, en general muy bueno pero puedes conseguir algo mejor a ese costo

Works well - my son loves it

Es el cubo original, con piezas de plástico en lugar de pegatinas, lo que lo hace sentir más durable y de mejor calidad. Vino en el empaque original y aunque no tarde mucho en descubrir cómo resolverlo parece entretenido para los pequeños.
