Onechanbara Z2: Chaos - PlayStation 4

Onechanbara (Sister Sword Fighting in Japanese) has been building off the gameplay from its original Simple 2000 series low budget PS2 release for about ten games now. With every game, more mechanics were added. For the latest one, the mechanics added include swapping between four characters at once, and transformations after your gauge has filled up enough. There's in game reasons to swap between characters, including more damaging combos, but it is also a fast way to cancel or chain together attacks, which struck me as surprisingly deep. In this type of free form combo 3D action game, you get out what you put in. The characters have personality, the environments mostly look great, and you can have a hundred enemies on screen without any framerate issues on the PS4, which is awesome! There's two weapons to switch to between characters, with a light and heavy attack, as well as one extra weapon/ability each, so you have twenty modes of attack at once, with combo specific moves, specific input combinations, context sensitive attacks, and a variety of aerial options, to make for a very wide range of player interaction. It doesn't start very hard, but it will eventually force you how to learn how to play, and there are higher difficulties and extra missions unlocked, even though the story mode feels a bit short. It's a really well made game with a lot of passion behind it that I was not expecting on a current generation console. It's also really cheap now, so it's all the more worth buying! A few things to note: this game has some technical issues such as enemies spawning in the walls or outside the player area, though they need to be defeated to progress. I experienced this in the mansion level later in the game, and you can actually just jump over the gate in a specific place. If there is something stopping you from progress in this game, look it up and someone else has probably also had the same issue, so don't worry about game-breaking glitches. Also, this game is very busy, with a lot of variety in enemy and level design, yet part of the appeal of a "beat-em-up" or "hack-and-slash" type of game is that it can be mindless fun. I would actually recommend Onechanbara: Bikini Samurai Squad on the 360 or Onechanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayers on the Wii if you're feeling overwhelmed. The PS2 Onechanbara games (EU/JP) are a little slower paced than this one as well, a bit more RPG-like than Devil May Cry inspired. Still, this PS4 game really went above my expectations, I love it!

Go into this one expecting a ground-breaking entry into the series and you will be disappointed. Go in with eyes wide open and expectations somewhat low and you'll have fun. It's basically gory zombie slaying meets dynasty warriors with scantily or fetish-y clad battle girls. There's a story, but good luck making any sense of most of it. Enjoy hacking zombies to bits with swords, metal gloves, chainsaws, and a variety of secondary weapons. The combat does get tedious, especially when you suddenly realize the game expected you take a completely different path and you end walking all the way across the map to kill that one last zombie preventing you from progressing to the next area.

I love the Onechanbarra Series, game actually arrived earlier than Amazon said it would. Which is awesome. I don't really have any bad complaints, except for one it wasn't the Banna split version like it was advertised. But that may because they don't have that version anymore. The DLC for that is only $2.99 so I'll just get it later. Other than that, I'm very pleased with how the game came in and in perfect condition. If you are a fan of zombie slashing bikini wearing heroines than Z2 Chaos is an absolute must for Waifu fans. Highly recommend.

Bought this game because of Pewdiepie. Very fun game with absolutely beautiful characters! The gameplay is decent though I still don't know how to change weapons / perform certain combos since the game isn't very clear on how to do things. Otherwise some fun gameplay if not a bit repetitive. The repetitiveness is cured by the stunningly gorgeous characters who you will instantly fall in love with. You can even pause the game hit R3 and position the camera exactly where you want it to get all the best panty upskirt shots if that's your thing. Story was ok nothing amazing. Environment Graphics look like they are from the original Play Station but you don't really care because girls bouncing around infront of you are so perfect. For the record SAKI is my favourite however I did enjoy moving Aya up against a wall then turning the camera around for a VERY sexy view of her Vah-JayJay. The best thing about this game is the women are allowed to be beautiful because the disease that is feminism hasn't infected the Japanese. They know 99% of the people who play these games are men and know exactly what we want to see.

Onechanbara is reclaiming their position among the hack n slash games from very long ago. This title is also the same, players can play with 4 characters in anytime, special modes also available, graphics is not upto ps4 level though but good fighting style with swordsmanship. My personal ratings for gameplay is 5/5...

Excelente juego , tipo clasicos de combinaciones y chorro de enemigos, bueno para disfrutar durante un rato libre y a buen precio en su version física, no había llegado a mi pais asi que lo quería en esta version lo recomiendo
