The best there is
The short answer: this bed frame is the absolute best and has exceeded expectation. It is completely solid and noise-free, even after 18 months of use. 10/10 recommend. Long answer: I have had this frame (queen size) for a year and a half now and am more than impressed with it. Upgrading to a king size bed, and I like this frame so much I ordered another one for the new bed. I got this one because of the hefty 2,000-lb weight rating and the extra-tall height (most of the bed frames I found at the time were only 12-14” so the 18” stood out to me). Side note: I am one of THOSE people who spends ungodly amounts of time obsessively researching all options and reading reviews before purchasing literally anything. My previous bed frame was a $50 folding one (14” tall) from WalMart which was rated for 1,200 lbs and claimed to be squeak-free. It lives up to those claims for about a year before it started breaking and making lots of noise, despite never coming anywhere close to the maximum load capacity (max load ever was under 800, daily load 95% of the time was under 400). Also, while it did offer convenient under bed storage space, it had diagonal supports for the legs, as folding bed frames tend to have. This limited the usable storage space to about half of the actual space under the bed, so that was kind of a bummer. Even more limited space once it started breaking and sagging. In contrast, THIS bed frame has been used under the same load conditions (and even now has an extra 200 lbs on it daily with the fiancé) and is just as quiet and structurally sound as the day I got it. No signs of wear whatsoever. Storage capacity is maximized because all the legs are vertical. Coupled with the extra height over the average platform of 12-14”, I have more under bed storage than I’ll probably ever need. One word of caution, as other reviewers have said, since the outer legs are on the border of the bed rather than underneath, it’s super easy to stub your toe on them, which hurts of course. I haven’t added foam padding to the legs yet to minimize it, but I probably will once I make a bed skirt to cover it up. Another thing to note about this review: I cannot really comment on the slats, as I built a 3/4” thick plywood slab to nest in the indent of the bed frame as a perfectly flat and solid support for my memory foam mattress. I would highly recommend doing this, especially if you’re heavier like me, as we bigger folks will sink lower into any mattress, possibly creating pressure points (which could cause discomfort or maybe even undue wear on certain slats). Pro tip: If you do opt for the plywood slab, the top of the 3/4” thickness will sit flush with the edge of the bed frame, so I would “upholster” the plywood with a large size rug gripping pad to keep your mattress from sliding out of place. I see them all the time at thrift shops, or you can get one on Amazon for under $20. I just folded the edges under and used a cheap staple gun to secure all around. Works like a charm, and the plywood is a total game-changer if you have a softer mattress. Also, have used it mostly on carpet but also on tile and concrete floors. Completely solid on all surfaces.

Awesome heavy duty bed frame
After my old platform bed wore out from use, I wanted to invest in a solid bed. I'm a larger guy (320lbs), my mattress is heavy (queen Avocado brand - 100lbs), I have a lot of sex, and I spend a lot of time on my bed (eating, relaxing, sleeping, etc.). This bed frame is extremely sturdy and has held up well for the last couple of months. When shifting side to side or bouncing on the frame, supports never fall out. I couldn't say the same for my old bed with wooden slats. The bed is quiet, but it's not silent. It does make some noise if moving a lot, but it's not that bad. Each of the major supports not only sits in or on another piece of metal, but there are also metal screws to hold them in place. The frame comes in a large box. The instructions are similar to Ikea. There is a series of pictures that you follow. It's fairly foolproof. It does include all the tools you need for assembly, but I would recommend using a power drill to make it easier. The frame has three supports on the left, middle, and right sides. Each of the supports comes with a rubber/plastic end to prevent creaking and rubbing. All of my pieces came and were well manufactured. There are holes drilled for a headboard. You could use this without a headboard, but I always think headboards look better. The feedback from others was the slats were too wide. I sit on the edge of the bed often and based on prior experience, I didn't want any issues. I bought a Zinus Bunkie Board to go on top of the metal frame. I'm so happy I did! It helps support my mattress, prevents sagging, and helps me ensure the whole bed is more secure. I have no doubt this setup could last for 20-30 years. The height of 14 inches was actually about 2" higher than my previous bed. I'm 6'1" and when I sit on my bed, I sit just higher than a standard chair. I live in an apartment, so the storage under the bed is critical. The extra height gives me more room for storage. Since the frame has no sides and if you plan on using the underside as storage, I would recommend a duvet to cover the sides. I'd highly recommend this frame for anyone seeking a sturdy bed frame and needs storage space.

Very happy with it
I am wary of reviews because there are so many fake ones; the reviews on this one were really good but there were some claiming warped metal or the middle foot not touching the ground, sounds of squeaking etc. I decided to assume those were one off defects and I was right! Mine was super easy to assemble. Aside from taking apart the old bed and cleaning, it probably took 20 minutes (2 people) to put together. Super easy not complicated. I have a drill but didn’t use it like the instructions recommended. I have slept on it one night and heard no sounds and it is very stable. Lots of room underneath (my dog likes crawling under it she can almost stand up). With our mattress being so thick it was too high using the box spring so we took the box spring off and it’s really comfortable! The box spring was a booger to get in anyway it was such a tight squeeze but the queen mattress fits perfect and the lip keeps it from moving around. I might put plywood underneath just because I don’t like my sheets folded under to hang down. I put a bed skirt around it to cover the stuff stored underneath. Overall I’m really happy with it. If anything goes wrong I’ll come back to update this review but if I don’t then it’s still going great! Update 4/17/2020: Bed frame is still awesome. I read a bunch of reviews saying that you will stub your toe on the legs and it should be wrapped in something and I thought it’s not that hard to avoid hitting your foot...then I stubbed my toe about 16 times the first day. But, I haven’t hit my toe on it since the first day! Just got used to avoiding that spot I guess. Update 4/7/2021: have had this frame a year and had to take it apart and put it back together in another room, super easy didn’t even need the instructions. Bought a second one for a different room and put it together in 20 minutes again but o my one person this time. Still love this frame! Don’t have a box spring on either one, just the mattress.

Need improvement
I wanted to love this frame. I’ve seen so many broken wooden slats and not just my beds but others. This is the best thing since bubble gum. First it took 2 people to put it together because the boxes were heavy, but after taking the parts out of the boxes they were pretty easy to handle. I couldn’t understand the paper instructions very well because the parts are not labeled. So I went to YouTube where I originally saw the frame. Kerry simplifies the instructions and made it make sense. I can probably assemble another one easily. Tools: The only tools I had was the 3 that came with the frame. I don’t have an electric drill nor a rubber mallet, if I may suggest the mfg offer a solution as these aren’t things people just keep around. However, I sufficed without them. I was able to tighten the bolts as far as they would go. When I move the frame I will use a mallet to secure the slats. Use: so far the frame is very sturdy and strong with no squeaking. We left it in the living room and put a mattress on top so we can watch the 65in. (Lol) It is so comfy it’s unbelievable. I never want to see another wooden slat ever! They should be banded and never mentioned in the history of beds! (Will add pics later) Okay these are the pics of the Olee in the bedroom. Con: it’s larger than a queen size frame. As you can see in pic the Queen size mattress is smaller. (The reason I gave it 4 stars). I had to throw the side railings and footboard away. It wasn’t an expensive piece and I’d rather keep the metal Olee. I put a piece of plywood on before I put the mattress on to prevent it from sinking in between the slats as I read in some other reviews. So far so good.

Sturdy with Fantastic Storage - One little tweak to instructions
I have assembled hundreds of furniture items but this had to be the easiest ever! Almost instant gratification (about15 min). One thing I believe is important to note. When assembling you will see that each slat has a rubber insert at each end. When I inserted the first slat into the bed frame it seemed like it required just a bit more force (I am always cautious) than it should so I removed it only found that one of the rubber ends came off as it was tightly in the bracket. I then dislodged the rubber piece from the frame. This led me to look to the instructions - the picture of the slat did not detail the rubber end so I thought perhaps those were intended to protect you from sharp ends but not intended to be left on. So I tried one without them and it was way too loose. I then continued assembling WITH the rubber ends. Clearly they are intended to provide a snug fit and prevent noise that could be caused by metal rubbing. Per the instructions I tightened all screws (only 12) really tight. This bed frame feels completely solid! No racking or squeaking. Regarding the 'lip' to retain your mattress, I am not so sure that it is entirely necessary. My mattress is old and misshapen so doesn't have a square edge to be caught by lip however it doesn't move around. Before I placed all of the slats (for ease) I filled the storage area underneath. It provides an amazing amount of storage space. Originally I was going to use it with standard under bed storage containers but when I realized that I could actually store all of my, impossible to hide, large format framed artwork under it, with room to spare, I was thrilled -- hadn't even thought of that. Really pleased with this item.

Initial review...will update after I've had it for a while
*2023 UPDATE*: Just updating to say that it is still perfect & holding up well almost 8 years later! I’m definitely grateful that I found it when I did I took the chance with it, after the many disappointments with the others. The only issue I have is that I see that they now sell an even higher length & wish it was available back when I made this purchase lol. Other than that I still love it & have had no problems with it being a 6ft 200-300lbs woman (almost 400 at my heaviest). I almost want to buy another one just to have it in case they one day years from now decide to discontinue it. My final thoughts are, GET IT! If you’re looking for something STURDY & will last for years! You won’t be disappointed! *INITIAL 2016 REVIEW* So I just received it yesterday and put it up in no time. Although, I was a little skeptical at first & was going to give it 3 stars, because when I first opened the box a few of the parts were scratched and banged up and some cable ties were already broken. I was thinking that maybe it was used and returned, but it could have also been from the parts hitting each other during shipping (not much protection, a few pieces of thin package cushion). The instructions were not difficult but you have to pretty much figure everything out on your own (nothing is really labeled). I thought it would take me hours to set up because of this but surprisingly it didn't. The frame once put together is very sturdy!! I've been looking for this type of frame for months since I got a new queen bed. So far no movement & no squeaking at all. I also used my box springs along with it because I like height. Like others have said with the box springs added the bed is SUPER high. I am 6ft and with everything together my bed now comes to my waist. I'll have to get used to it but I love it! This is my 3rd frame the other two cheaper and traditional (broke within a few weeks/months)..I pray and believe this one will last me a lifetime. I will update if there are any changes

Great product, well designed, well packaged.
Love it! Easy to assemble, very well packaged, good instructions. I was able to move the box into the bedroom by myself (average sized female) and assembly couldn't have been easier. Hint: don't tighten all the screws completely until it's put together and squared up, then tighten each one. This goes for most assembled items. Your life will be easier. I love the 18" of storage space below the bed! My hubby and I are active and hobbyists and have diving gear, ski equipment, and crafting/sewing supplies to store. This was perfect for us. Some things to keep in mind: your mattress thickness. We have a solid foam mattress, which we love, but it's rather thin compared to most of today's mattresses. It looked too low on the frame. Using the old wood box springs, it took a running jump to get into the bed and was way too high. Feeling like Goldilocks now, I ordered a 4" low-profile metal folding foundation which nested perfectly in this platform bed frame, gave added support to our mattress (not a design flaw of this platform bed, just needed with our mattress type), and gave us exactly the height we wanted. This platform bed is sturdy, no squeaking like the old wooden bed and box springs, easy as pie to disassemble and move when it's time and I can choose whatever headboard I want (or not at all). I'll never go back to traditional beds after using platforms like this. FYI: One more thing... This bed has a middle support leg on either side, which is great, except if you're a little clumsy like me. I kept stubbing my toes on this leg hidden under my bedskirt, so I used that grey cylindrical foam pipe insulation you can get at any home improvement store for a couple bucks. It cuts easily with a knife. I cut 12" lengths and wrapped one around each of the offending support legs an no more stubbed toes! About a 1 minute project if you have the pipe insulation on hand. We liked this bed frame so much, we ordered another one for our guest room. More storage!!

Sturdy, reliable, love the storage, has lasted since 2021
Be warned, I’m about 5’2 and with our tall mattress on the bed frame I can’t just sit down on it, I have to climb up onto it. So, if you’re short like me, then you might have to weigh that against how much you need or want the storage space. Also, because this bed frame is so tall, normal bed skirts don’t really cut it, so if you’re someone who likes bed skirts you’ll have to get an extra long one! We have had this bed frame for almost 3 years now and it’s still going strong! It’s gotten a little bit squeaky but I’m sure that could be fixed by tightening some bolts or something, we’ve just neglected to do that since it doesn’t really bother us. It’s survived a move and was actually pretty easy to transport, even upstairs. The storage space is AMAZING! I’ve been debating putting some of those wire grid cube shelves or something under the bed frame for added organization since they would definitely fit but it’s great to put luggage and shorter storage bins under! It was pretty easy and simple to put together, so much so, that I was concerned about how well it would hold up. However, have a HEAVY, BULKY, monster-sized hybrid mattress and my partner was built to play American Football and bed frame has been AMAZING. (P.S. We needed to get a new set of pet stairs for our small dogs to be able to get onto the bed)

Great frame, good feels, and groovey price!
Product was actually pretty decent for price vs. quality. As the kids would say, "This bed it lit! for that price!!!" Comes in 4 pieces, two ends and two fold up sides with a leg each for support. Allen key (included) 8 small bolts, 4 larger bolts (2 extra incl.) and install the slats, and your done! There's a wrench I didn't even use. Rated 0 for storage because well.. it doesn't hold anything but you can definitely put your "tings" under it. Only issue I had was the bed was shipped from Washington to Canada during pandemic. If I had known that, would have maybe purchased from Canada and saved myself some taxes but happy regardless. Recommended by this Canadian 100% eh!

Exactly as advertised and worth the extra money.
Update: a year later there are a few squeaks, but nothing serious. Tightened up the bolts and that made a minor improvement but didn’t take all the squeaks away. We just received the frame (king) yesterday. All pieces were included and it went together easily - it took a little less than half an hour. Simple tools were provided, but we needed to use our own tools (ratchet, rubber mallet) to finish the job up correctly. Slept on it last night, feels nice and solid, no squeaking. LOVE the storage underneath. It was well packed, but there were a few scratches that are not especially visible. Because we already had it, we put plywood on top of the slats for extra support.

Excelente relacion calidad-precio
