Question 1

Im having issues geting my mouse to charge. I it in and the ted light turns on for about 30 seconds and then goes out. What do I do?

I had a similar issue: it seemed that my mouse was no longer charging at all. The LED light on the bottom would flicker red for about 3 seconds, then it shuts off. Since I purchased this mouse in late February, I thought that I'd gotten about 2.5 months of use out of this before it died. Especially after I DID drop it pretty hard like 3 times lol. 
It turns out that I'd just turned the mouse on in the wrong "dongle" mode: I use Type-C for my iMac, but it was in the other USB mode! I easily corrected that issue by pressing that little black button above the "off/on" switch on the bottom! Now it remains powered on after a good charge.
I hope this helps! If this didn't help you, I suppose it's possible that the issue could be a bad charger?

Question 2

Is the scrolling choppy? All other 3rd party mice have choppy scrolling, and I don't want to have to return another one.

I was worried about the same issue as I've had the same experience with other mice, but the scrolling is quite smooth with this one. I've added a video to show how the scrolling is. I'm using it on a 2020 MacBook Pro.

Do you have same mouse but with usb-c charging? micro-usb makes no sense in 2022

Micro USB makes a lot of sense. because so many people and devices support them. 
In the event that your computer or chargers do not support them, just locate or  purchase a USB-C to Micro USB cable and you're good to go.

You probably already have one, unless you already threw them out because you assumed you would never need it.

Question 4

Hi, my laptop was unfortunately stolen along with type c receiver - I was wondering if its possible to get a replacement/buy only the type c receiver?

Your mouse and its receiver are tuned to a very narrow band of frequency, so buying another one is practically not feasible.  The receiver and mouse are tuned as a pair so it won't interfere with other mice in close proximity.  You'd just have to buy another mouse.
