OUTSTANDING PRODUCT & CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I purchased my Apricorn in October 2018 and it quickly became a mandatory piece of equipment in my work process. For some reason it quit charging a few weeks ago. I filled out an RMA form on the Apricorn web on April 3rd, and it was approved by Brandon about a half hour later. I sent the device back to them the same day by US mail. Low and behold, I received the brand new replacement today 05/10/19! IMPORTANT NOTE: I copy the contents of the Apricorn to another super secure device every day, without fail. So all I had to do today was copy the contents back !! Thank you Brandon! _________ I was recently hacked! So now my most important files now reside on this device, not my work station. The contents are encrypted and only accessible on the Apricorn Aegis Secure Key with a password. I have seen concerns here about operating temperature. The device shows up on my system temperature monitor and has never gone higher than 86 degrees which doesn't bother me a bit! - Thank you Apricorn for easing my mind - IM

So far this is a solid and secure flashdrive.
I love that this will not even be detected until the right code is put in. Combine that with BitLocker encryption and you have a USB Flashdrive that is hard to hack and essentially two layers of security. The one draw back is that it does tend to get pretty warm. I am not sure how that will effect its useful life yet. I imagine this is due to the fact that it is filled with a resin to make it difficult to physically access the electronic components within so there is no air space to allow heat to get displaced quickly. I like it so far.
