Great quality and awesome value for money!
Previously used Martins and these sound just as good, without the carrots Packaging that adds no protection. Now it’s settled I’m really enjoying the tone of these strings, but not as much as enjoying the savings on a 5 pack! And each individual pack is sealed so it won’t tarnish if left in a guitar bag for a few months. I’m going to stock up!

These won't leave a pang as you twang😁
Excellent strings for the price, especially for five sets. They have a bright tone and seem to be durable; I haven't had any breakages as yet🤞They are plenty long enough and should fit most acoustic guitars. Quite light and thin so ideal for the older guitar, when you want to reduce neck stress. I'm sure there are better strings about but they are about three or four times the price of these.

Very good guitar strings
Bought these for the first time and was impressed with their build quality and sound. My only gripe is the five pack is unavailable at the moment and single sets that are available are not such good value.

Good for the money
Great value for the money definitely but I've found them to have that weird sliding squeaky sound but I have only just put them on so I'm sure that will disappear over the next few days but nice bright strings for £2 a pack can't go wrong 😀

Fantastic
As expected ,Sound is lush, Quality is lush… long lasting sturdy I've twanged the c**p out of them since having them installed… have not snapped one since …. Obviously if you treat your strings badly… they will snap. They are not idiot proof.

Not great
Restrung my guitar with these strings a couple of days before my gig, just so they’d settle in a bit more. Within 15mins of the gig, a string snapped. I quickly restrung that string, only to have it snap again at the end of the gig. Terrible strings, wouldn’t recommend

Pretty good for the price
Having said that I think I paid roughly $20 for five on prime day. At $26 for 5...maaaybe. Tbh I'm pretty sure you can get daddarios for 3 for $20 from time to time. Id say it like this. Buy ONE set of these and keep daddarios as your mains these as a backup set for months you might not play as much... you'll never regret it. They sound pretty good, wouldn't call them phosphor warm or 80/20 bright theyre a decently balanced, consistent strings that on my Larrivee...stayed in tune after the first restring so...on a decently maintained, solid.wood guitar they work fine Edit: update- I still do not regret buying a 5 pack of these. I've broken a number of high e strings and these are always there, waiting to step in as the 'sixth man' as a replacement single string...one other caveat though These are NOT durable, here is what I'd recommend If your guitar has a midrange scoop, like my Godin Multiac which isn't a real acoustic but something like that, a Taylor T5, a Fender freeway acoustic or acostasonic- the sonic profile of these strings is PERFECT for those types of guitars OR, of you just want to replace the wound strings for couch playing in whatever guitar sits out more regularly.... For a Martin, or Alvarez, anything that has naturally boosted bass...they'll do the job, but MOST guitars with cedar tops, laminated tops, etc These will flat out sound bad. They are good for the aforementioned purposes, but they are like anything, they don't work (sound wise they just sound thin unless the top/soundboard of your guitar is truly luthoer grade) on the cheapest of the cheap guitars...maybe stay away. Just boil your strings and get Ernie ball earthwounds for the same price per pack.. Donner makes great stuff but everything has spot. On certain guitars, these strings can be a square peg, sonically. Not a great strummer either, I'm a 100%fingerstyle player and these don't have nearly enough bass for a Neil Young song baseline

Great strings - great value
Update: I bought some Elixirs and took a set of these off my guitar after 2 weeks of play and strung it with the Elixirs. Ultimately, the two brands are very comparable. Any difference would fall under personal preference IMHO. The Elixirs are a bit more "jangly" and create a slightly brighter strumming sound. The Donners are a bit more bold and clear for fingerpicking which I really like. The Elixirs are a bit more gold in color while the Donners are more a brass color. Ultimately, the Donners are less that $5 a set and the Elixirs are at least $10 so I'll buy the Donners going forward. I usually buy Elixir strings but saw these available for a fraction of the price and decided to give them a try. They sound great. I strung the guitar and used it for a gig the next day and they played fabulously and stayed in tune. My only negative comment is that the .52 gauge E string is a bit too loose for D tuning which I use fairly often as a fingerpicking player. However, I'm quite sure that is related to it being a .52 gauge instead of .55. Having said this, It is still workable but just requires a lighter touch when tuned to D. Overall, these strings are great and at this price, I can change them whenever I wish.

A questo prezzo ottima quallità
ho già acquistato queste corde, per il prezzo veramente ok. Sarebbe bello che Donner metta in vendita anche altre scalature, come 0.12 o 0.10.
