They sound pretty great. I certainly wouldn't call myself an audiophile, but they sound as good as my expensive headphones. The only time I really use them is when I'm playing a game with someone else in the room or blasting some music. They work great for both those situations. The volume knob is very nice and linear, though it sometimes makes a bit of a pop if you switch it off very slowly. I love that I can plug my headphones into the speaker. It's a bit like having a DAC in that I can easily adjust the volume. The line in is really nice too when I want to play music off of my phone. The "tone" knob really didn't seem to do anything worthwhile. Supposedly it adjusts the bass, but I found the bass perfectly good at the normal setting, and changing it didn't seem to produce any noticeable difference. Personally, if I was going to mess with the bass I would use an EQ anyways. The knob doesn't negatively impact anything though, so you might find it more useful than me, and it's certainly no detriment. The speakers themselves look fantastic. The black & white is striking but not too much so. It matches my desktop's colour scheme, so that's a bonus. I like that they're nice and tall, they look great sitting next to my monitor. The construction is fairly sturdy, but you wouldn't want to be moving them around all the time, as that's really not what they're meant for. They're heavy enough that my cat doesn't knock them over which is good. The exposed cones of the speakers could be a problem if you live with kids. They look nice, but could be easily damaged. For me it's a non-issue though. The price is what really makes these worthwhile. I picked them up at under 30 bucks, and for that price they're absolutely amazing.

Allow me to just start out by saying that I'm just your average Joe. I will boldly say that if you read this review all the way through you will probably have the best idea of whether this is right for you. I'm a senior in college and don't have money to just throw away, not yet at least. Nothing makes me happier than when I can say that I found a deal. I guess I get that from my dad. I'm really not the kind of person who just says "Yeah, five stars!!! Bestest product of all time!!!" something has to be incredibly worthy or terrible to get me to write a review about it. Haha, luckily for Logitech, the former applies to these speakers and everything they advertised about this product is well deserved. Let me paint the picture. I was looking for some quality speakers and my limit was about 30 or 40 dollars. I'm not looking for studio quality speakers (although I would say that these are great mid-tiers), just something better than my built in speakers on my monitor. I saw these online and no matter where I went, I would keep gravitating back towards them. My caveat that makes me unique is that I was looking for a two speaker only setup with great sound; I already have my desktop down below the desk by my big 'ol feet and I would be fighting for room with a sub-woofer down there as well. That being said, these two big guys offer about the best sound short of buying a subwoofer equipped setup. I'm not being biased when I say they were actually more than what I hoped for. For about $25 you get two large speakers with more than enough cable room to put them wherever you want on your desk and great sound. As I read when considering buying these, someone wrote that they're about the size of two red bricks, and they are about spot on. Go outside and find two bricks and put them on your desk; that's about the right size, maybe even a bit bigger. To me, the size is nothing but a plus but I can understand why some wouldn't want large speakers. They look almost intimidating sitting here looking like I paid a lot more for them than I did and the size helps Logitech make good on their word that they pump out quality bass. The bass is solid, about the best I've heard in non-subwoofer setups. Yeah, you could have better bass, but not in just two speakers like these unless you go Bose or something. There is an adjustment wheel on the right speaker that you're going to just want to turn all the way up. It boosts the bass and treble very well. I've never had to take them past about half power on the sound nob except to test them right now. There's no static sound that I can hear no matter how high I go up, and that treble sound that fills the room when listening to music is incredible. In the end, I can't really think about any negatives that are worth mentioning. The do exactly what they are supposed to do. They sound great when I play games or music, and have an ambiance quality to them like you've put on headphones on and want to be left alone. Granted, I've only had these for about two weeks but I have a feeling they will last a long while. Heck, for the price they could last six months and you'd probably get your money's worth. If you want a more expensive setup with surround sound and deep bass then you're not looking in the right place, but I would imagine the sound I'm hearing would cost me about $40, not $25, so I don't see how you could be disappointed with these speakers.

Decent sound, not louder when compared to others speakers. Power adapter is of US 120 v type. Need to buy a converter separately to fit in indian AC power.
