Definitely worth it
This is a great, simple, and a non painful way to train your dog. This method is very humane, effective, and quick. The battery lasts a long time, and is very cheap.

No BS Review: effective tool, but only if you use it correctly
Iโve had this since December 2022 and intentionally didnโt rush into using it. I knew going in that if used wrong, you could easily set your training backโso I took the time to properly condition my dog to it first. โ๏ธ Would I buy again? Yes โ Beginner-friendly out of the box? Not really Real use: Using this with a ~60lb dog (high energy, trained, not food motivated). This wasnโt a quick fix toolโit became part of an already structured training approach. Pros: โข very consistent and reliable overall โข multiple levels allow for really fine tuning โข great range for off-leash work โข build quality is solid and holds up over time โข once properly conditioned, my dog responds quickly and confidently โข works well once properly fitted (I did need to switch to wing tips for better contact with my dogโs thicker coat) Cons: โข definitely not something to just throw on and start using โข requires time, understanding, and proper introduction โข not a substitute for actual training โข early on, I did experience an issue where the stimulation levels were glitching/rolling up and down Customer service note (worth mentioning): I contacted the company about the issue and they were honestly greatโthey sent out a replacement unit over a year later, no questions asked. That alone says a lot. Real talk: Once my dog understood it, his reaction completely changedโhe literally sees the collar now and gets excited because it means weโre going out to train/play. That didnโt happen overnight, and I wouldnโt recommend this to anyone looking for a shortcut. If youโre willing to learn how to use it correctly, itโs a really effective tool. If not, this probably isnโt for you.

Very Happy But Take The Time To Learn How To Use It Responsibly
I have an 8 yr old dog that we adopted from the shelter. He always had a number of annoying issues that we could tolerate in the past. But after moving to new house these issues started to get much worse very fast for some reason. I spent a lot of time on YouTube learning how to train and fix these issues. Joined subscription based online dog training. After about 1-2 months, I did manage to fix most issues using positive only counter conditioning methods and some small changes in the way we managed him. I managed to fix most of the issues like barking at door bells, door knocks, garage door opening, jumping on visitors, barking on leaSh at people on walks, barking when family members talk a little loudly at each other in the house etc. However there were still two issues what I could not fix using positive only methods. These were : 1. fence fighting as we shared backyard fence with 4 other neighbors. 2. Barking & lunging on leash at other dogs on walks (although he was fine with humans now) I thought very hard about using an eCollar on my pet. It was either this, put up with my dogs bad behavior and risk neighbors complaining for his fence fighting or return him to the shelter to be someone else's problem. I decided to purchase this eCollar as a last try and I couldn't be happier with it. Fence fighting was fixed in a few days using only level 6 to 9 and some very good timing. Before the eCollar when he started going beserk, I had to go out to the backyard in the night with a leash, try to chase down my dog, put a leash or carry him indoors. Aggression at other dogs on outdoor walks is now reduced significantly but I have only had the collar for about 2-3 weeks. I am also using the eCollar for improving the heel and recall outdoors. Adding the eCollar for his heel only needs a working stim level 2 outdoors and I can get him to walk right by my knees with occasional ecollar pressure at level 2. As an indication, when I put the collar on my own body, I only barely start to feel the stim at a level 8. It is more of a feedback to my dog that he is going out of the heel zone and needs to come back in. Certainly not a punishment at all. For recall outdoors on a long leash I work mostly under level 10 to get his attention for him to come back when he is really distracted. It took me a long time to arrive at a decision to purchase the eCollar but I am now fully convinced I made the right choice. I took my time to learn how to use it properly first. After using it for about 2-3 weeks, I did not break the bond I have with my best friend, we are still good pals. In fact it think it made our bond stronger as he is a lot more in tune with me where he used to turn a deaf ear in the past. I find he is learning to leave the walks up to me and he just needs to follow that's all. I now think there is hope my dog can go off-leash maybe in a month or two. As soon as there is no aggression at other dogs, and his heel and recall is full proof with heavy distractions, I will take him off leash but with just the eCollar for safety. If you are like me, struggling with dog issues and are thinking of returning your dog to the shelter, DON'T. Give this a try. I strongly recommend you first take the time to learn how to use it responsibly on our best friends. There are a lot of good quality free videos available on YouTube. The 2 Youtube video series playlist that were most useful to me are : 1. How To: E-Collar Training! By Take the Lead K9 Training 2. Penny's Training Camp Journey By Liberty K9 Dog Training & Rehabilitation Or seek help from a professional balanced dog trainer. As for the product quality, while a bit pricey, I found to be very good quality. I did not have any battery issues as mentioned by others. Battery last about 2-3 days before I have to charge it. Also did not have any issues with inconsistent stimulation levels mentioned by others. But I do ensure I fit it snugly on my dog every time. As I said, take the time to learn how to use it properly to get the best use of it and to treat your dog humanely and respectfully.

Itโs pricey because it actually works, without stressing your dog out
TRAINING WITHOUT STRESS: Great training tool, is working on my very stubborn dogs. I like that there are 100 stimulation levels, so that I have the ability to train my dogs without causing them distress. I set it at the lowest level necessary to get their attention. THIS IS NOT A โSHOCK COLLARโ (when used properly): People who say that stimulation collars are inhumane probably donโt realize that these modern stimulation collars are nothing like yesterdayโs shock collar. I held it in my hand while applying stimulation, so that I could see what it felt like. It does not hurt, but it does get your attention. GIVES TONE OR VIBRATION OPTIONS: You can set it to give tone or vibration prior to giving stimulation, so dogs quickly associate the vibration with the need to pay attention. Half the time I donโt even have to use stimulation. WORKED ON MY 2 YEAR OLD RESCUES WITH NO PRIOR TRAINING: I have only been using it for 7 days, and I see more improvement in just 7 days than I have in their entire life. They actually seem calmer because they have clear consistent training. No anxiety from wondering what is expected of them and trying to figure out boundaries and rules. START LOW, GO SLOW: Just start your dog at a low setting, I started at three and worked my way up. I found a level 17 to be perfect for one dog, and a level 25 to be perfect for the other dog. MUST BE SNUG: Just make sure that the collar is snug enough to produce the same amount of stimulation every time. If it is too loose, the level will feel much different depending on the dogs position. USE WITH POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT: I recommend using it in conjunction with positive reinforcement. Every time they respond appropriately, they get a treat. This product has done wonders for my dogs. FOR THOSE ON THE FENCE: For those on the fence that are concerned about stress caused by stimulation, consider how stressful it is for a dog when they get yelled at or punished - and canโt figure out what they did wrong. READ THE MANUAL. THEN READ IT AGAIN: This is a pretty high-tech item, and definitely requires a full understanding of how to use it. I read the entire instruction manual several times before I put it on the dogs. Itโs a little bit complicated at first, but reading the instruction manual and watching YouTube videos really helps. Give yourself a few days to practice before you actually put it on the dog. CHEAPER THAN THE ALTERNATIVE: And yes, $300 feels like a lot of money to spend on stimulation collars. However, after using them I realized that they saved me so much money. I had already done a consultation with a professional dog trainer, and was about to spend $1800 to get both my dogs professionally trained - that was the lowest quote I could find. With these stimulation collars, I do not need a professional trainer because I am able to do it myself successfully. And we are talking about two dogs that were pretty much feral when I got them. Now that I donโt need a professional dog trainer, I essentially saved $1500....and my sanity. I hope this review was helpful in answering some of your questions! โฅ๏ธ

Good for recall and training
The original package it came in, had a different serial number than what was on the device which made me wonder if what I received was a used model. Used it to train and found it effective. However had to replace battery earlier than expected and to do that had to order it from the company. The tech support was very helpful! Even after replacing the battery the power seems to be so much less. I have to turn it up to around 25 to match the former setting of 8; I always test it before putting it on my pooch. I only use it as a recall device now on a German Shorthair who occasionally gets fixated on a scent and needs a prompt to recall.

Best E-Collar on the market by far and PetTek is one of the best Sellers on Amazon!
Product arrived quick and the device was so effective that when the recorder plastic broke a few months after having it(was covered and replaced by manufacturer) my dog was already fully trained and I didnโt need it anymore! I never once hurt my dog in anyway and thatโs not what the device is meant for. The โshockโ should do nothing more than get the dogs attention and should be associated negatively with a phrase such as โno or badโ. Then you use the hand clicker it comes with and associate it with something good, like a treat. So when the dog does something good, you use the clicker and then give them a treat. After a short while, you donโt even need a treat. The clicker is enough for the dog to follow commands. If there is a behavior you are trying to correct, you use the remote to send the light shock to get the dogs attention and tell them โno or badโ and do not reward them with a treat. Then you redirect the dogs attention to the good behavior that replaces the bad. For instance if your dog has an issue with running off, you would in a controlled environment have her run off and then hit button on your remote and tell the dog no, then use the hand clicker and the command you are using to correct the behavior such was stay or come and when the dog stays by your side or comes back to you. You give them a treat. Back to the remote. Super easy to use. You only have to charge it maybe once a month depending how much you use it. I charged it weekly, just so I didnโt have to worry about it. The range is incredible. There are plenty of levels to the power of the shock and the instruction book clearly tells you how how for your type of dog and for what type of behavior. (For instance If there is an emergency situation and you need to stop your dog, you can use a higher setting for a jolt that should stop the dog without injuring them. They also have two power setting depending how you got the Button, so you donโt have to worry about messing with increasing it when you really need it. Itโs compact, so I could easily hook it to my pants when going for a walk or run. Lastly, the seller PetTek is fantastic. They responded to my issue almost immediately even past 11pm Eastern and they got me to the people to fix my problem in no time. 10/10 recommend buying any product from them.

Incredible CS and warranty
Bought this in May of 2024 but wanted to learn how to use it before putting it on my dog. Finally got around to being trained on using it a couple weeks ago but by then, it stopped charging. You had to shove the charger into the receiver on the collar and hold it with a lot of force just to activate charging. I couldn't sit there and hold it like that for an hour or more each time so I check and it was under warranty (warranty is for 2 years!!). Just got off the phone with them and the process couldn't be easier. They're shipping me a new collar receiver that will be here in 5-6 days. Prior to this, the collar worked amazingly well and I'm looking forward to putting the replacement into play with my pup. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company for their products and their warranty as well as their Customer Service

Complicated Setup and Difficult to Get Working Reliably
I purchased the Educator ET-300 Mini e-collar hoping for a reliable training tool with good range and customization, but unfortunately my experience was frustrating enough that I ultimately returned it. The biggest issue for me was simply getting the system functioning properly and consistently. I followed the instructions carefully, spent significant time troubleshooting, and repeatedly attempted to configure it correctly, but I still could not get the collar operating in a way that felt reliable or intuitive. I want to be fair and acknowledge that there may be a learning curve with more advanced training collars, especially for first-time users. However, in my opinion, the setup and user experience were not nearly as user-friendly as they should be for a product at this price point. What frustrated me most was the feeling that I was constantly second-guessing whether the issue was the product, the setup process, or something unclear in the instructions. For something marketed as a practical training tool, I expected a much smoother and more straightforward experience. Because I was never able to get comfortable or confident with the functionality, I ultimately decided it was not serving the purpose I purchased it for and returned it. Overall, this may work well for experienced users already familiar with advanced e-collar systems, but beginners or less technical users should be prepared for a potentially frustrating setup process.

Disappointed in the seller
Did not work right and not everything was there. When I tried to message them they wouldn't message me back. I ended up going to the actual company and they replaced it.
