This pump worked perfect to pump water out of my basement. It pumped the water out pretty fast and has been used multiple times with no problems. It is small and lightweight so easy to carry to a basement.

Effective, quiet and powerful. My lanai floods as well as much of the back yard with heavy rain. The WaterBUG pumps water at full bore through my garden hose to the driveway and rather quickly lowers the water level on the lanai. I wish the power cord was a couple feet longer, but it works for me as is.

Bought to help with water that pools in the lawn. Never had an issue. Works great and worth every penny!

I've used this pump twice in the last seven months to drain a pond with roughly 2000 gallons of water. I really like the fact that it has two garden hose attachments, one at the top and one on the side. That's super convenient. I've found, like others, that the impeller can clog pretty quickly with any large debris (leaves, dirt, etc.). But, the impeller cleanout is not very difficult. When using this pump with clean water it works like a champ. It's very light and the cord wrap is convenient. Sits very flat to the surface getting water at a super low point. Highly recommended for pumping clean water! I'd like to see the price about $20 bucks less :)

Bought this pump to drain an outdoor tub. I was impressed with how quiet it was and how quickly it drained. Very simple and easy to use. When close to being done pumping it appeared to stop working and I was concerned and reached out to support. It turns out it got an air block where air somehow got into the pump and was preventing it from continuing to pump water. Simply turning it sideways to let the air escape quickly resolved the issue. Would recommend.

I was amazed how easy this was to set up. As long as you are plugged into a GFCI outlet or adapter with the proper gauge extension cord, you should be good. I am using on my side lawn...the amount of discharge is more than enough to meet my needs. And the motor is relatively quiet.

WOW! WOW! WOW! So beyond thrilled I stumbled across this little yellow sucking machine! There just aren’t enough words in the dictionary to describe my relief, excitement, amazement, wonder, thrill, did I say relief already? I’ve used the little “disposable” above ground pools for years and years. Except they aren’t little when it comes time to clean them up for summer fun. Mechanical brained hubs and fight EVERY FREAKING YEAR over summer setup. He ALWAYS has some ingenious idea to help save our backs from bailing water and funk from the bottom of the pool. There is always about 8” that doesn’t syphon out and we have to use buckets and dump. It’s a big fiasco! Well, this time I was six months post back surgery and he was recently diagnosed with severe back arthritis and a debilitating disease that has left both of us unable to scoop and dump 5 gallon buckets of water. I searched for a pump and there were several to choose from, but the reviews sucked! I actually ordered another pump and then cancelled the order because I just didn’t feel a level of comfort with the purchase. And then it happened! This little yellow monster machine popped on my search! The reviews were fantastic and seems incredible. The money wasn’t bad and I figured what the hell - if it didn’t work, I would send it back and at least I tried. It was easy peasy to set up. I dropped it in the stagnant water at 5:30. By 8:30 most of the water was gone! Tomorrow I’ll finish with the big shop vac on all the gunk and start filling that beast of a disposable pool that is on its third year of use. 22’ x 52” in size. This has been the easiest pool cleanup and open I have ever done short of setting up a new pool! THANK YOU! This old lady is beyond happy with her purchase!

I had a sump system installed in my wash room early this summer which was improperly installed and therefore I had to rig a system to drain water from under the foundation until my system is up and running. To do this I used a large volume water vac and then submerged the Bug into the container to divert the water outside with the hose setup on the WaterBug. This is a miracle machine! It is well made, sturdy, fast draining (very fast). You have to stand near the electrical outlet (the Bug is not automatic) to cut the electricity because it drains sooooo fast, you don’t want the Bug to operate on a dry surface. I was totally amazed at how quickly it drains. It is small enough to put into a good size bucket, has two hose attachment ports which is so helpful because you’re limited on space when it is submerged in a large bucked so having the top port was fabulous. I carefully read all the directions and placed the Bug on a plastic cover I put at the bottom on the bucket to prevent it sucking up any loose debris from the water hole. Having really good luck so far, I then ordered an inexpensive but durable plastic debris filter to set under the pump for future use. The WaterBug has now gone to the very top of my “go-to” most valuable, time saving, stress reducing piece of equipment guaranteed to get you out of a nasty situation. I’m so thankful I thought this through to look on Amazon to meet so many needs, particularly pesky ones! Thank you WaterBug and Jeff Bezos from Amazon. It’s unbelievable how quickly you can purchase items and have them In your home within two days. Changes life as we once knew it, for sure!!!

Our basement and crawlspace started to flood due to a very quick snow melt recently. I tried three different submersible pumps that barely worked on low water on floors. Then I decided to give this one a try and it’s absolutely amazing. Not only did it suck up water faster than any other pump that I have tried, it also works really well in low water situations. I highly recommend this pump for anybody who is dealing with any sort of flooding.
