This Is True Classic Metal!
I can definitely recommend this album to anyone looking for a taste of what metal music used to be like. It’s pretty cheap too, which is a plus in my opinion. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!Personal recommendations based on this album’s content: Black Sabbath’s Paranoid, Bon Jovi’s New Jersey Deluxe Edition, Dio’s Holy Diver 2022 Remaster.

Nothing Noisier than a Quiet Riot
I wore this album out on cassette in high school within a year of its release. It was a primary player in the pickup truck cassette player. Later on, replaced it with a CD copy. This is the second CD copy I've owned. Not a bad song on the album. Long live the memory of Frankie Banali, Kevin Dubrow, and Randy Rhoads.

Exactly as I remember it... sort of.
Metal Health is like a mutual fund: it has a couple of great tracks, a few good ones, the rest are okay -- and everyone bought it. The first two tracks are the two hits off the album, so it all starts off strong -- but then it settles into the averageness that was Quiet Riot (there's a reason why the band's founder Randy Rhoads left to play for Ozzy; by Kevin DuBrow's own admission, they weren't that good). If only DuBrow had let his music do the talking, then he wouldn't have been told to EAT IT by everyone except Weird Al. However, the last track on the album, THUNDERBIRD [the band's tribute/eulogy to Randy], shows that maybe Kevin DuBrow did care.

My favorite Q.R. Rock Candy Records reissue!
This was a game changer of an album kicking down the door for Heavy Metal in the 1980’s. Now it gets a glorious make over from Rock Candy Records with bonus tracks to boot. The sound, booklet, photos and extra tracks are all fantastic. Make sure to order yours before they are gone or cost over $100 each.

Absolutely amazing!
I ordered a Metal Health cassette thinking it would be a republished album with the reverb watered down and was excited to see an original tape. I couldn't believe my eyes and the sound is nostalgic.
