Apple users beware
This device only seems to work with PC and does not support airprint. Last firmware is from 2017 and there does not seem to be an update

Brilliant and Infuriating
This thing is brilliant and infuriating at the same time.Does it work? Yes but, I have experienced 2 problems.Problem #1 - Running on a Windows 10 Network, installing the printer as a TCP/IP printer, no issues, if you are the administrator. Minor issue, send a print job, Windows reports an error but still prints fine.If you are not the owner/admin of the computer, the problems come up. As a user, I can install the printer, but it won't print. I have to install as the owner/admin. However, sending a print job (a single copy) as the user and I start getting endless prints of that single copy. I have to power cycle the printer and this unit to get it to stop. Could be the way it communicates to the HP Printer, but this is a pain in the butt since I don't want the kids to be admin/owners on their computer, but would still like to grant them the ability to print their homework.Problem #2 is more of an annoyance. Randomly, this thing starts flooding the network with traffic like it's performing a DOS attack. Once we figured out what was going on, we just unplug it and plug it back in to get it to stop.

Disappointed with it.
Well it was pretty easy to set up, however you need to install software on every darn computer you want to print with and it redirects your ports which take some time and energy to undo. I could already “share” the printer with Windows, I wanted to be able to print to it with my iPad and iPhone but I had issues with that, so I uninstalled it and the software everywhere, then played around trying to get things back the way they were, disappointed with it.

It works
My wireless print server went electrons up. Trying to find a wireless server at a decent price was next to impossible, as they're rarely required any more. This one's wired, but, beggars can't be too choosy. A bit nasty to set up, but once I got the hang of it, life was good. It allows me use of the same old printer using 3 different Operating Systems. Can't complain about that!
