Very pleased with the light and it works perfectly on the timer

Lights in my tank had stopped working and no longer available. I wanted a basic light with blue and white lights and this one fitted the bill. Simple to install, easy to operate the lights and change between colours, there are also different brightness settings. Item was well packed and delivered quickly and seems as though it is good quality and should last well.

Good sides. The timer is great and easy to use. It is definitely waterproof as when the water has been changed in the tank it sits below the surface. The downside is that it's not that bright and doesn't make a huge difference to the plants. I have 2 small aquariums with different lights. In the other one the plants have gone berserk. This is they are yellowing a bit. The tank is very small so there's not a lot of space for a light so it's doing an good job really. I just knocked a star off for the brightness. It's a good price though and a well made item. It feels like quality.

Great light. Bought for my new fish tank in in the process of setting up. Nice clean bright light. The only thing I would suggest is use Aquarium safe glue to glue the suction cups to where ever you want to put the light. It keeps the light more secure. I like the fact it has bought white and blue light with adjustable brightness.

This is a great lite for the price, it’s so much better than others I tried at same price range , it’s great for fresh water ,gold fish etc plus seems to work with reef tanks too depending on what you have inside .I have 2 clown fish some bubble tip and a Kenya tree and all seem to be doing great with white and blue on 100% ,other corals may need more blue light but bubble tip seem to do better with white and blue ,it doesn’t state that it’s suitable for reef tank but so far so good it’s working very well with the animals I have inside my 55 litre tank

I made an error and got the smallest one when I meant to get the large one, but to be honest the smaller one does the job. Having the timer buttons on it is very useful to, especially if you forget to turn the fish light out at bed time, which I have done many times, now that does it for me. But yeah, good product for the price, and lights better than you expect for the size too, I have it an a 36x18x12 inch tank, and it is bright enough for me and the fish. The larger one which I intended to get may have been a little too much, so happy with it.

This lights up my 2 foot long aquarium perfectly, the best bit is that you can control the brightness and colour of the LED's, to minimise algae and show the fishes at their best. The worst part is the actual controller. It has four buttons, which are labelled with vague symbols so basically I just fiddle with them all to get the levels of light I want. The same controls also have a timer, where you press the button for 8, 10 or 12 hours of light. But you have to press the button when you want the time period to start, so if you have a power cut or somebody (like a child) plays with the buttons and changes the times, you have to wait until the next day to start the timer again. You can't even disable the timer to use a mechanical one as switching it off resets all the settings and it's built into the cable. I'm sure this makes it cheaper but it also makes it very frustrating as well.

It has been more than a year and the light is still working. The light is partially submerged in water and there has not being issues until now.

Looks beautifully at the bottom of my 12" tank and is definitely waterproof. You have three color choices: just blue, just white, or the combination of blue and white. With the push of a button, (which switches from lowest to highest before it resets) you get 10 levels of brightness that control the individual colors! So with the combination of blue and white, you get to choose the brightness level for each color.
