Reception English Targeted Practice Book: Phonics - Book 1

I cannot fault the CGP books - another excellent work book to keep my kids engaged in their learning! I've bought this twice - once during the pandemic and now I'm back doing phonics with my younger child and I've bought it again as it was so helpful the first time around.

This book has been great getting my daughter ready for reception class. It has little activity’s in to do and I am going to carry on doing the activities as she progresses throughout the school year

5 year has nearly finished the book. It's taken him slightly longer to finsh as he had other CGP books to work through during the last 6 months. He has a great collection of study/practise books to choose from. Every single one has been so helpful

Because of the UK school policy, my 4 yo (who is a late born) missed starting school last September. So I wanted her to be at the same level with her age mates and went ahead to buy some books.I can honestly say that the CGP books are good for us. We try to work a little bit everyday and she kind of enjoyed it. Even if, I feel that she is a little above the book 1 content, I think it’s a good start for the next books.The only con is to have to buy 5 separate little workbooks. Why not make just one?
