Protects the leather.
Have two of these in the car to protect the leather against the car seat base and they work perfectly. There are pockets for storage which are handy too.

Not delivered in the best condition
The box was not necessarily new, it seems it could have been reused several times. The protector structurally seemed fine but there were brown marks on the white side and white paint marks on the black side. I have returned the protector due to the condition it is sent not being reasonable for the price it costs. Photos attached.

Fits like a glove
I bought this a driver seat cover to protect the leather seat in a new ute. So far it off comfortable and does not move a millimeter while being used-( my only concern that it might scrape off the leather over time) but one could only hope
