how do these hold up to food with sauces? Fett alf,,,,or steamer clams? Will they just blow out in a togo bag?

just had my daughters wedding shower yesterday. Everyone loved that they were there, the size could have been a little bigger (that is one me). They are not leak proof, so don't tip or drop or stick in the bag sideways. They held up pretty well against the sauces, the steam from certain foods seem to make the container a little soft. That ensued that guests decided they must double box everything. I don't think anything leaked thru, but when they are not paying for it, it's a free for all. I hoped i would have enough for the wedding also :( Ration them yourself. Hope this helps, it gets soft in the steam, but did not leak from what i could tell

Is this container 100% compostable? I understand there is a difference between biodegradable and compostable.
