Great reference Bible. Only drawback is bulk & weight. Wanted the "handy size" but these ol' eyes can't deal with 6 pt type. Very satisfied. My old Bible was in tatters (reflecting more on it's quality of binding rather than the usage it's had). Hope this one lasts as well (though I likely won't need it as long - I'm almost 78, so I expect this one to last for the duration).

Purchased as a birthday gift. My friend loves the bible. She was so surprised. It was used but in great condition. No markings what so ever. It had someone else name on it but she just put it in a cover. She didn't care about the name. She is enjoying what's inside.

This is the best study bible out there to me. I was put on to this bible by a minister friend. He was so right, scripture should interpret scripture. That is what you get with a Thompson Chain bible. I would recommend this bible to everyone out there. I bought the bonded leather. It looks good and has a very strong binding. Of course if I had the money I would have rather had a leather.

I have used a Thompson Chain Reference Bible for 25 years and have found it to be a wonderful Bible and easy to read and study..I wore one out, it got to be looking so worn out that I had the need to purchase a new one and this was it. I would recommend it highly to anyone, it is a great Bible...

I bought one many years ago and love its' information. My brother is currently at ORU and needed a good Bible to add to several others he has. I knew that this would be a good one for him.

Why? Because rather than use somebody's opinion about a biblical idea, the Bible uses the scriptures to define the word. Outstanding word searches in a chain of references, from the first time the word is used in the Bible to the last time by the use of marginal references. King James Version is the ONLY version to buy (because it hasn't been tampered by man's cognitive abilities, but written through God's inspiration of the scriptures.I only give this one a four because I gave it as a gift, and the recipient hasn't responded to me thanking me for the Bible.
