ZUZU LUXE Oil-Free Liquid Foundation (L-19),

Been using this product for years. Goes on easily. Great coverage but feels light. I use L-11 most of the year and switch to L-14 when I have a great tan.

I really like ZuZU Luxe oil free foundation and have been using it for years. It does not irritate and has ingredients which rate well with EWG, safe cosmetics. It provides a light coverage but you can apply more to get a heavier coverage. I like to use a powder also so it gives a matte look. However they quit making the L-3 color that matches my skin tone, then I switched to L-4. Recently I have been having trouble finding the L-4 color anywhere on the internet. Finally I had to order L-1 and L-7 and mix them to come up with an in between shade. It took me years to find this foundation line that is so gentle on skin so I hope they continue the line.

Although this product is pricey, and contains only 1 fl ounce, I find it one of the best foundations I’ve used. Doesn’t cause skin irritation to my sensitive skin, non- greasy and a small amount is all that’s needed for coverage. I purchased the L-4 and the color was a perfect match. As much as I really like this product, I’m uncertain if I’d purchase do to price for size. That’s the reason for 4 stars review

I love this product; it's lightweight and gives my skin a natural look. The product doesn't contain harmful chemicals.

I wanted to like this product, because I'm vegan, and I know it's one of the best ethical make up brands. The problem I had, is the color is not right for me. I bought L-3, described as ivory. It is more of an orangey beige. I broke the seal on the tube, even though the color didn't look like it would work for me. I thought I'd I put some in my face...maybe it would been to ivory...Nope. So I'm out $25-$30...I forget what I paid. Anyhow, I'd recommend this product only if your able to try a sample first, as the color name description isn't at all accurate.

I absolutely LOVE Zuzu Luxe!! I've been using this as my foundation make-up for nearly 2 years, having discovered it in a Whole Foods store when switching to vegan skincare from the evils of Estee Lauder. I'm so glad to have found this. Coverage is great. I have found that not all moisturizers work with this make-up, some cause it to roll up in little beads/logs as I'm trying to apply it with my fingers, or simply make it hard to spread evenly. I haven't really investigated this yet, but just changed moisturizers when I ran into a problem. It works great with Andalou's Goji formula and with Weleda's (I've used both the rose and the pomegranate formulas with Zuzu). Didn't work well with DermE products (feel very dry to me anyway) nor with Loccitane Divine Cream (worked OK with the Immortel formula. I'll note that the Divine cream used to do fine, then it didn't. I think it's probably a quality control problem with Loccitane more than anything else. I've stopped using them for a number of reasons, including inconsistent products). It may be that my skin interacts with some of the others and has nothing to do with either the makeup or the moisturizers, but that's what I've found. It is horrible !! Was to be white and is dark dark brown , scam!!!Bad product, will send back!!!!

Doesn't cake up and is thin but covers well. My skin looks younger since I used it which I think is because it doesn’t cake up and the chemicals are healtier than mkst make up I have found. My skin looks natural when wearing it and the color seems to adjust to my skin better than any foundation I've had. I have used Lacome, Clinique, Almay, Avon, Neutrogena, and Maybelline True Match and this one is the best so far. I prefer this over the chemicals in most foundations. My skin breaks out less or almost clear now that I have been using this for a few months.
