Pokémon Primers: ABC Book

I didn't pay attention to size before order and was pleasantly surprised. Not huge, but not as small as most board books, and lots of flaps. Seems sturdy. Nice, colorful pictures and good learning concepts. I remember loving flaps in books as a kid, like sneaky extra content. Good variety of pokemon in there. Doesn't matter if you know/love Pokemon or not; they're still fun, colorful characters teaching basic concepts. Though double fun for parents who enjoy them and want to share them with kids who maybe aren't watching tv yet. I think these will be great once the recipient hits toddler age.

This book is amazing! We only got it today and both my pokemon-obsessed kids are even more obsessed! It not only includes so many words associated with each letter, with different pronunciations, but it has many pop ups for little hands to pull and discover. I would give this 10/5 stars if possible.

I’ll be honest, as a complete novice to reading to babies, it felt a little funny imagining myself reading Pokémon names to a kid who can’t even talk yet. I bought this for my sister and her son, and while I wasn’t totally sure what to expect, she absolutely loved it, which is what matters most. The book itself is really well done. The pop-up flaps are sturdy and fun, and there are a lot of them, which makes it interactive even for very young kids. The illustrations are bright, detailed, and engaging, and it’s easy to see how this keeps a baby’s attention during story time. It also works well as a bonding book for parents to read out loud, even if the child is just listening and reacting to the pictures. And for anyone wondering, yes, they actually do cover the entire alphabet. Overall, it’s a fun, well-made board book that feels more special than a standard ABC book, especially for Pokémon fans. I’m excited to hear the stories they’ll have from reading it to him as he grows.

I absolutely love these books! My nephews are obsessed with all of the primer books.

I bought this for my dad to read to my daughter, kind of as a joke, so I wasn’t too worried about whether it was great quality. But I was pleasantly surprised! This is a higher quality board book than I expected. It’s a little larger than standard, the pages are very sturdy, the illustrations are good, and it has a ton of flaps to open. I think I’m going to buy the numbers, colors, and shapes books from this series too.

Bright pictures, great for a gamers baby.

This book is adorable and made an amazing addition to a baby shower gift to my favorite Pokemon Trainers becoming parents! This board book is great quality!

This whole series is amazing, the quality is amazing for a board book and each page is thick, extremely durable for toddler’s hands. At first, the flaps were pretty on there, you would have to help little hands with lifting them at first to “unstick” them, but after that, it’s super easy. The books are laid out and easy reads, with a lot of details on each page and the illustrations are excellent.

I want to get my kid hooked on Pokémon early. Will eventually be getting all of them in the series.

This book is fantastic. It has so many Pokemon in it and so many flaps to lift. My 16 month old is currently loving Pokemon, so it's a great book for her. Not sure how long all the flaps will last but that doesn't matter. Pikachu is scattered throughout for Piccy lovers.
