It's self adhesive but I usually use E6000 glue for a permanent hold or gorilla glue

Are these good for reflecting high beams?

I doubt it, they are plastic mirrors. That use sounds dangerous and possibly illegal

Would these work for use as mirrors in a Kaleidoscope?

Once the protective film is removed they are as reflective as any other mirror. They have an adhesive side and the mirrored side and if you needed to you could cut them to shape with a good pair of scissors. Hope that helps you.
