BBC Mary Berry's Simple Comforts

I have made many of these recipes so far for my family, and they have all been great. Mary really seemed to emphasize families in this cookbook, and these are the kinds of recipes that are interesting enough for me and my husband, but still familiar enough so that my 5 and 6 year old sons devour them. The recipes we have made are as follows: the salmon and fennel one pot wonder, smoky firecracker chicken drumsticks, roasting tin Thai salmon and vegetables, whole stuffed baked trout with caper butter (we used sea bass), Swedish meatballs with enriched apple and thyme sauce, and the chocolate steamed pudding with chocolate sauce. All were absolutely delicious and relatively no fuss with not too many strange ingredients. I look forward to trying the steamed cabbage and the lemon and blueberry mousse next. If you are looking for a cookbook to help feed your family with nutritious, no-fail recipes this is the one.

Who doesn't love Mary Berry?! This was bought as a gift for someone and it was on a special offer at the time so bonus having saved some pennies. Hard cover back, received in brand new condition and variety of recipes inside is fabulous. Excellent standard from Mary as usual. Would recommend 👌🏻
