Leemone Quick Release Wand for Dyson V7 V8 V10 V11 V15, Grey

I bought this when my original Dyson Cyclone V10 wand randomly broke. I wasn’t sure what to expect from a knock-off brand and debated going with an official Dyson replacement. This wasn’t much cheaper than an original, but for a few bucks and free shipping I opted to try it. The only difference between this and the original is the lack of the “Dyson” name on it. Otherwise, it feels and functions exactly like the original. Worth the purchase.

I have the Dyson Animal and this works perfectly! I was a little skeptical about purchasing after reading some of the reviews but I purchased anyway and am happy I did. Fits smug and correctly and just about matched the same grey coloring as my old one.

Extension functions as it’s supposed to which is great, but doesn’t fit perfectly in my Dyson. Is quite wobbly. Some of the attachments don’t “click” into it.

Purchased as a replacement Wand for a Dyson V8 Absolute vacuum. Initially everything seemed perfect. It was sturdy with a nice metal pipe and while the connectors are a little snug such that you have to gently wiggle them out this was far preferred over a loosey-goosey fitting. However come christmas time and I'm vacuuming pine needles using the Wand and the kept getting stuck in the tube, never making it to the vacuum canister. I decided to take it apart, which wasn't difficult, and found that the plastic pieces on each end slide in and over the metal tube. The problem is that the piece that slides into the metal tube is not flush with the interior sides of the metal tube creating about 3/8" gap. Normally there is like a fabric gasket there but mine were destroyed, maybe by the needles not sure, and stuff was sliding between the plastic and metal tube. This also meant that anything making it into the vacuum canister had to effectively 'jump' the 3/8" gap. Since I liked the metal tube so much I opted to try and improve the design instead of requesting a return or similar. From the photos you can see where I took an old funnel I had and cut it up to make a collar of sorts. I then superglued it to the neck of the plastic tube and it slips snuggly into the metal tube. This provides a sloped path for dirt to more easily make the transition from the larger metal tube to the smaller neck of the plastic tube. This has improved the uptake and capture of dirt effectively fixing the issue.
