Is the the best option for covering scuffs that took the black off of a sting ray wallet?

It could although since it’s paint you would have to use a cloth or something to remove the excess.

I need something to stop my leather couch from peeling. Google said this worked. Has anyone used it for peeling leather on furniture? Did it work?

Unfortunately, in my experience, this product will NOT stop your leather couch from peeling. Outside of a complete reupholstering, NOTHING will prevent it from happening. It's an unfortunate flaw in blended leather furniture. What this product WILL do is swath the exposed cloth beneath the leather in a color pretty close to the original. If you're OK with that, then this is a decent product.

how to deal with the stickiness after it's been painted and sealed?

I never sealed mine ,just painted it. I left it for several days to sit and dry. I'm afraid that's all I've got for you.
