Cute but metal clasp gets weaker with use
First few times out of the box, steeper worked great but after awhile, the metal edge no longer catches onto the plastic edge. Have to handle this very gingerly or else the metal portion will detach and the tea leaves get dumped straight into my cup

DON'T BUY THE DUCK, other shapes are good
Edit: The feet snapped off after one drop from about 3 feet high. I'd give this 0 stars if I could. Original review: Horrible design. I've had Fred brand tea strainers before (loved my silicone manaTea) so I bought this duck without looking at the duck-specific reviews. I completely agree with other reviewers- I can't imagine why they made this with flimsy latches instead of a screw top. The grooves in the plastic where the legs meet the body collect residue and look gross. Tea strainers don't normally need to be scrubbed after every use, but this one does. The photo shows the build up after three uses with good rinsing in between. I admit that after three uses the latches are holding for me, so I still have a functional strainer. But I truly have no faith that I'll get to keep using it for long. It looks adorable floating in tea, and if I thought it would last me even just one year I'd be okay with it. But I think I will need to repurpose the plastic top into a fridge magnet or something pretty soon.

Love it. Functional and portable
Love it. It's compact enough for me to place in my lunch bag for work, easy to clean, and I can use coffee grounds in it for just a cup. Not to mention, when I see the tail feathers floating around in my cup, it makes me smile. From an elementary school teacher. It was my Birthday present to me.
