Very pleased with this tool. It made cutting 35mm hinge holes much easier and far more accurate than free-handing or using cheap guides. The jig holds firmly in place, lines up well, and produces clean, consistent holes. It saved a lot of time and avoided mistakes, especially when fitting multiple doors. Build quality feels solid and it works exactly as described. Two minor issues: the instructions could be clearer for first-time users, and the clamps need to be tightened properly or the jig can shift slightly. Once you’re aware of that, it’s not a problem. Overall, a reliable and well-made tool. Good value and I’d definitely use it again.

I had recently constructed an alcove cupboard and had made a pair of doors that I wanted to fit with cabinet hinges, this was my first time I had ever attempted this, looking through the reviews this tool had good reviews and was half the price of other well known makes One bit of advice is do a test piece on as scrap of wood and read the instructions a few times, as i was cutting 35mm hinge holes I didn’t realise you have to remove the spare collars that are provided for when cutting smaller hinge holes Communication was good with the company supplying the product I would definitely recommend this hinge jig, simple to use and a decent quality and price

Good enough to do 20 something kitchen cupboard doors anyway. Clamping is the key to success.

I just got around to using this on an MSF project. It is a simple little tool for occasional use, came with clear enough instructions and the bits you need to use it. All you need to add is a power drill and a couple of clamps to hold the jug in place, thereby ensuring trueneat holes

I had exactly 2 hinges to fit and did not want to fork out the major money for the high "quality" ones. I was going to 3d print one but then I found this kit. I was not expecting much to be honest. I thought it would get the job done. But I was surprised. It was really easy to use and very accurate. everything you need is in the box. It did not come in a fancy plastic box though, if that is a dealbreaker for you then fine. Me I usually take this stuff out of the boxes to fit in my drawer compartments anyway so no biggy for me. Highly recommended!!

I bought this for my son for professional use and he says it is excellent and ideal for the job of fitting cupboard and wardrobe door hinges with the precise size & depth required. He says he can now do 4 in less time than it took him to do one prior to using this. Therefore if either you are a professional tradesman or DIY’er we all rely on tools that do the job everytime so we can concentrate on completing whatever task it is with confidence that the tools won’t let us down. Fully recommended 👍

Easy-to-use jig and drill bit set. Recommend use of clamps to secure on the door before drilling. Only gripe is I needed a 3.5" guide from the top/bottom edge of the door - the jig comes with 3" and 4" guides only but managed to place in the required position by drilling extra holes in the jig (could have also done it by not using guide and measuring by hand...). Would be ideal if there was a sliding guide hole or additional holes to provide more options.

Beware of the two adaptors for 26mm drilling. They were on the jig, which initially confused me as I was trying to get a 5mm gap and it wasn't happening. Always best to test before going live on these things. Luckily the adapter fell off and I had a eureka moment and removed the other one. I don't know if this is what happened to the one star reviewer. Then I had a perfect 5mm from the edge cut.
