Flimsy top, cheaply madeTop breaks apart after several uses

I had one of these 5 years ago and only recently needed to buy the current version since the plastic handle broke. WHAT A JOKE this new one is. Doesn't drain the water from the top reservoir all the time, and it's a surprise when water pours out all over you. So annoying. Will be throwing this expensive thing away. Do not buy.

Really like filtered water but often leaks when filling especially if top isn’t placed exactly right. Filters are a little expensive when filled it’s heavy but results is worth its weight

I've been drinking bottled water for a few years now but then I saw a video on the acidic content of bottled water. Drinking water with a below neutral ph is unhealthy. I started to look for bottled water with a high ph balance but the pickin was slim and expensive. I bought a Brita water filter picture but the water came out with the same ph level as it went in. Then I bought a Zerowater filter picture. The same thing happened. These filters can filter out toxins but they don't change the ph level. I did a little more research when I found New Wave Enviro Alkaline Picture. I put sink water in and it came out with a perfect ph balance. I even filled it with Poland Springs water, which is the water I drank for years until I learn it's ph level. Poland Springs also came out with a perfect ph level. The top portion is a little flimsy in that the plastic is very thin but over all I like it so far.

I don't like that I try to fill this up but when I pour this out to a glass it will sometimes spill water out. Not sure if this is a design defect in that the chamber that holds the filter and initial water may be too large and causing the problem.

timer not working and it is not a easy change battery.Wow i will reconcider amazon shopping returns are a pain and take long time, so much for a prime meber may not be worth the return mess. not a happy customer but in this day of age not one person cares.

First, let me say this product produces great tasting water. I've been using New Wave Enviro filters for years and have always been very satisfied with them. However, I've been very disappointed with the quality of this pitcher. It is cheaply made and the description of what is filtered is misleading.The insert that contains the filter slides too far down into the pitcher, making it virtually impossible for the lid to stay on. As a result, the lid randomly falls off. In addition, this is what the description states-"New Wave Enviro's filtration family ensures you are drinking fresh, natural, contaminant and chlorine free, filtered alkaline water." However, the water from this filter is not, in fact, chlorine free. It only filters out some of the chlorine. This fact is stated in another location, so if you miss it you might think you are drinking chlorine free water. This is very misleading and should be corrected.Because I've been a loyal New Wave Enviro customer, it pains me to say I could not recommend this product. I could probably overlook the misleading description, but the quality is just not good.

I'm very happy with the quality of the product. I tested the difference right away and not only it is by far the best water we ever had but my test kit shows 9.5 every time.No longer keeping water bottles in my fridge which was taking unwanted space but I'm saving money in the process.I admit that an ionizer is best way to treat and serve water but not all of us have $1,500 or more to buy one of them. After must research I found New Wave and find it to be the best next thing for your buck.
