Get a good night’s sleep!
I use these nightly - although they are for kids, the size is perfect for those with small ears. Extremely effective in blocking outside sound such as barking dogs.

Who'd have thought earplugs could change your life?
I know the title is a little dramatic, but it's true in my case. All my life - even as a child - I've slept very poorly, and every little noise would awaken me.For the last ten years, I've had a white noise machine, but even then, not all of the seemingly-insignificant noises - like my husband's breathing deeply while asleep, the A/C unit coming on outside, or irregular noises on the sound machine - were sufficiently muffled to keep from disturbing me.And forget about getting ANY sleep at a hotel or anywhere other than home. Even taking a travel version of the sound machine didn't make it easier for me to sleep. Ice machines, elevators, doors, people walking in the hall or talking in the room next door - forget it.I'd been interested in trying earplugs since having firearm training and using the foam earplugs, but I am a small woman with tiny little ears, and I had a hard time getting those foam earplugs in and having them stay in. I bought some and cut them in half and tried them for a few nights and was so happy to find out it helped, but they were coming out or dislodging at night, and even when they stayed in, they were uncomfortable and did not block all of the noise. Back to the drawing board...I did some searching on Amazon, saw these earplugs in kids' size, ordered them, and have not looked back since. They are the perfect size for me, they are comfortable and easy to insert, they don't leave any residue on my fingers, and each set can last me anywhere from 5-7 nights. But best of all, they block almost all except the loudest sounds. For the first time ever, I am able to sleep without being awakened by insignificant noises all night long. The packaging is good. The small plastic box and clear sheet of plastic keep the unused earplugs protected. The packaging insert does a good job of reminding users that the plugs do not go IN the ear canal like most products like this do, but they are meant to cover the ear canal opening and go slightly into the canal. It takes just a little practice to be able to get them in there just right, but not much. Anyone with longer hair may find that hair gets stuck on them just a bit, but it's not too bad and the hair can be pulled free.I have used them at hotels, and they work very well to mask the normal night-time noises found when traveling.I highly recommend these earplugs, and am ordering more today!

Love these!
I like the waterproof kid size better than the regular Mack’s silicone ones. These go in so nicely and I can’t hear any snoring or other sounds.

THE BEST for snoring spouses.
I wear these every night to bed. I’ve tried every ear plug under the sun and these are hands down the best for noise reduction and staying in place all night.

Life-Saver
For most of my life, ears constantly infected, water in them, wax build-up etc. I guess my shape of my ear canals makes it more prone for these to happen. I have been trying all kinds of ear plugs but never quite solved my ear woes till I used Macks. Like another Reviewer aptly puts it "changed my life" Now I used them all the time - when I shower, wash my hair, swim, dive, water sports. It has been 8 YEARS since my last visit to the Ear Doctors. When you take them out of the box for the 1st time, they do feel little "sticky" but after a week of use (showers), the "stickiness" disappears - probably from contact with water. I usually rinse them after each use and air-dry them. Easy Breezy! These are soft and are moldable to fit inside the ears. The "Kids' Size" are perfect as they are large enough to cover the entire ear blocking any water from entering. You can shape them into a cone or flatten them like a pancake. Whatever shape works for you. I can understand why some Reviewers would feel they are too big for their kids, or if their kids find that it does not fit well. Because they are not soft foam material, it can feel uncomfortable for most kids. The Macks Material is more like silly putty/plasticine. Personally, I have not tried the Adult sizes as these fit me beautifully. With everyday use, these last about 3 months. I will replace them when they feel "hard" and not as "moldable" as before. Love these ear plugs - life-saver! No more painful trips to the Ear Doctors.

Good earplugs, and a good size for little ears
Have been using these with our son for several years. He's got tubes in his ears, which makes keeping water out pretty important. I tried the adult ones, both as whole and as half size, but these kids' sized ones are better. You can get several uses out of each pair (if you keep them protected in a container, not tossed in the bag loose as the 9-year-old tends to do....), so one package can get between 20 and 30 swims. When you put them in, the more you handle each one, the more body oils you transfer to it and the shorter the life span, so don't knead it endlessly. Shape it into a rough triangle, aim one point down into the bottom part of the ear (where it would drain out if the child is standing straight upright), and then gently mash the rest in to get a good seal. Don't push it into the ear canal! You're just aiming to seal the opening, and the mashing is just to get it to stick around the edges. This 6 pack was also an excellent deal and should last at least this summer, hopefully until next summer!

Great Cat Toy
I don’t use these as earplugs (no matter how moldable or comfortable they might be, I can’t stand having anything in my ears). One of my cats stole an earplug from a family member’s ear a few yrs ago and, now, we buy these JUST to put 3 together and form a ball that’s bright, super bouncy, that the same cat goes wild for. I realize it’s not the intended use, but it’s why we purchase several boxes of these at once. Our cat could do a commercial for using the earplugs as her “earplugs ball.”She carries it around, chases it, rolls around on the floor with it, and stashes themin her hiding spot. If I open a package of them she is right there, waiting and pawing at it as I form a new “ball” for her!
