Lots of cd's available for this language; bronze, silver and gold versions of TrueBASIC, and even works on Windows from what I am told, no VM or DOSbox required... Next; SimpleBASIC, free even,(!) from Microsoft... It was a great buy. Was purchased used, but the seller sent the book in the condition promised, and I saved about $30.00 dollars, verses a new book.

Good book, especially for newbies...
Authors assume nothing, starts from scratch. BASIC seems to be a good language to learn; despite the naysayers. Good fundamentals, and good habits that transfer well to other languages, are best learned early. This is a good book
This book covers the True BASIC language well, it is a little out dated concerning the editor, but the documentation that covers the syntax of this version of BASIC, is very good. It was a great buy. Was purchased used, but the seller sent the book in the condition promised, and I saved about $30.00 dollars, verses a new book.
