Automatic Bird Feeder No Mess Bird Cage Pet Feeder Seed Food Container for Parakeet Canary Cockatiel Parrot Finch Canary Acrylic (5.1 x 5.1 x 4.3 inch)

I purchased this feeder to help eliminate waste and mess left behind by my budgies. It accomplished both aspects. I am truly happy with this item except for one thing. To make this item even better I suggest a removable tray to discard eaten seeds and a top lid to add fresh seeds. This wiuld make the item 10x better.

I have four cocktails and they make a bit of mess with the food. I purchased this clear plexiglass box to minimize the seeds all over the floor. Easy to put together and fits great in my cage! make sure you measure if you have a smaller cage. Extremely functional and my babies love the box. Easy to add seeds, easy to remove from the cage and empty the shredded remaining of the seeds. Once in a while I was the box with warm water and a bit of gentle soap to clean and sanitize the box. It’s durable and the clear color makes it less visible in the cage. My bird population is extremely happy and they enjoy the food dispenser. I have an additional dispenser to ensure they have enough food.

Love these feeders. Controls and depletes so much seed mess! And fun to watch them in it when hooked to the outside of the cage instead of inside where it uses more room.

There is nothing negative to say about these feeders. They are well-made, sturdy, and do the job of minimizing seed mess. I would caution everyone to be sure that your bird is small enough to turn around in these to get out. I have two ringneck doves and I ordered the medium size (the largest they had). My doves took to them right away, having no issues figuring out how to get in them and access the food. Our problem was, when they finished eating from them the first time, they could not turn around to get out. I had to take them out by hand backwards because their tails were too long to fit inside the box to allow them to turn to get back out. This is the only reason I will need to return these, and it's no fault of the seller or manufacturer. I will be replacing these with the extra large bird baths and using that for seed instead, to still keep the mess at a minimum but have enough room for them to come and go. But I would highly recommend these for any smaller bird less than say 8 inches long or so. Hope this helps :)

Very well constructed. Wish it came in a bigger size tho. I think my Caique would feel more comfortable in a larger one. Looked to purchase a larger one, however was not available. Great construction. Allows for in or out of cage. Works to keep Debra in when she uses it properly.

What a mess saver! So happy to have found this. My conure loves to fling her chop. I remove any leftover every night, wash it up, and it’s ready in the morning. Best invention. Plus it’s fun to watch her eat without getting her food on me or in my coffee!

I really wanted this feeder to work out. When I received the box it was packaged well and very sturdy. The attachment bolts for the hooks were made in a way that did not leave sharp edges inside the feeder. The hooks feel strong and overall it seemed like a decent product. As a first time bird owner I didn't think about the ease of cleaning the feeder or the ability to refill it. I was not too impressed once we started using it. In order to clean the box, you will need to completely remove it and turn it over to dump the old seed out. There is no way to remove the top or sides as it is all glued together. You can reach in, but not super easy to clean. To refill the box you need to pour the seed in the back from the front as the top is not removeable. I could have lived with this. The final issue that prompted me to return it was that the opening is wider than the door for my finch cage. Three of my four birds managed to finally figure out how to get in the feeder, all at different times, but then ended up not figuring out how to get back out. I'm not sure if this was because the box is totally clear or that my finches are just a little on the not so smart end. What resulted was massive amounts of bird panic and having to stand in front of the box with my hands on either side to get them to move toward the exit. During this I was concerned they would injure themselves with the amount of panic and fluttering happening. This ended with them being terrified of even going near the thing and making it pointless for us to have. Ultimately this is a nice product if you don't mind a little work to clean it and if your bird(s) are a little smarter about which way the exit is, but didn't work out for us.

My parakeets loves to dig on the food bowl and I got tired of cleaning the mess on the floor. So I bought this to help with this issue and it helped a lot. Now when they try to dig the food still inside and they don't do too much mess with the food. Is a grate material, easy to take out and fill it up and easy to clean it too. It fits perfect on one of the sides. On the picture you can see the food capacity, I don't like to fill it up too much so dmthey don't do too much mess when digging. Good quality and price.

best product ive ever bought for birds. This definatly helps mitigate 70% of the mess. My quaker parrot hated this, he was scared. But after a couple of hours of starving, he decided to go in the cube to get some food, and that was the end of his fear. Easy to clean, my parrot does less mess. He now eats inside this cube which is perfect. Highly recommend

Fantastico! A mi canario le encanta! Buscaba un comedero que no salpicara alrededor de la jaula y este cumple perfectamente esa función. Pero ademas, ofrece un espacio extra a la jaula que a mi canario le encanta. Pasa mucho tiempo allí y a veces hasta echa una siesta allí dentro! La barra para posarse le queda un poco lejos al ser canario pero he puesto un carton para subir el nivel de la comida y asi no tener que echar tanto para rellenar el hueco. De esta manera el llega mucho mejor a la comida y de manera mas cómoda. Me encanta que tenga este espacio sin barrotes, tanto para el como para nosotros. Compre el tamaño pequeño pero me gusta tanto que estoy pensando en comprar uno mas grande para darle mas espacio! Muy buen producto. Lo recomiendo!
