Superior Eyelets
So I don't make holsters but I do make junk journals from old books and I place eyelets through the hard book covers. These eyelets are far superior to any I've used before. I usually just grab some from the sewing store or hobby store or big box store. Just cheap generic eyelets. And sometimes they work okay-ish and sometimes they totally split and look a mess, but they never give a perfect roll down. But THESE eyelets...they roll down perfectly on the back. And I'm not using some special or fancy eyelets setter. I'm using a cheapo generic little 2 piece tool (I included a pic) and these eyelets are setting perfectly. Granted I'm not slamming it with the hammer like I'm trying to nail a 2x4, I'm giving smaller, yet still firm, taps and I'm getting excellent results. Highly recommend these eyelets.

Great for corset!
I was making a leather corset and needed longer eyelets to go through all the layers of fabric and these were perfect. They set correctly with no issues. I had a question on how to install them as they didn't come with the traditional eyelet setting piece and the customer service rep I spoke with was friendly and helped answer my questions easily. I ended up getting two different sizes because they worked so well. The thickness worked great for my lacing and they were easy to install once I knew how to do it.

Eyelets
Eyelets used to hang gym mats along the walls of unfinished basement to help create a “rubber room” for my grandson. Both the eyelets and the tool provided have worked well.

Buy the right size
Make sure you buy the right size for what you are working with. For me and what I'm doing, this works. The price is right.

Started with my Crop-a-dile and finished with some taps with a hammer
These are beautiful for making thick covers on books and junk journals where normal eyelets are too small/short. When I squeezed the first one with my Crop-a-dile and it was too long for the hole, I was worried I had gotten the wrong length. I didn't! They are perfect! I simply tapped them with a hammer against a solid surface and the inside rolled over beautifully! No splits!!You really don't need any fancy tool to get these started. Just something to get the flare on the tube started. Then tap tap tap!I'll be buying more!
