I had ordered this as (obviously) I have been suffering from a horrendous cough. The next day I saw it in the shop for a couple of pounds cheaper and was annoyed that I didn’t wait. But when this arrived it was huge! So good value for money even if I probably don't need that much. The taste is strong, very strong. So you need to be able to at least tolerate the taste of liquorice or aniseed. I've only been taking it for a day so can't comment on the long term effectiveness but short term I do think it was very soothing. I had the best night's sleep I've had for a few nights so that was nice. I haven't noticed any side effects other than the urge to eat or drink something yummy afterwards.

Good Old Fashioned cough medicine.
Had a chesty cough for several days, my ribs ached from coughing. Bought this medicine, smells and tastes like Old Fashioned stuff but shifted 95% of cough and mucus after 4 doses. The next day only had a slight cough which I hope goes to day. If you don't like the taste, hold your nose and get a grip!

Product is fit for purpose
I have used this product before, and therefore I recommend it does work. It is strong and very effective, I always keep a bottle handy for the winter months to help with colds and flu. Like the taste too, and the price was reasonable.
