Prism Mantis Single-line Kite, Iris

Have not had the chance to fly this kite yet since I bought a similar Prism brand kite but in the more traditional Delta wing shape. I really do like this design, the long tail, and color scheme on this one and if it flies anything like the Delta kite I'll be even more excited since I actually kind of like the look of this one a little better anyway and is definitely more unique.

Cool fun little single line kite. Somedays I just don't feel like flying a double line kite and this is my "go-to" kite. It really likes to fly, give it just a puff of a breeze and watch it take off. If you don't you'll be at the end of the 200' of polyester line in a heartbeat. Beautiful colors especially with the included tail. Always typical PRISM super quality of construction and design its built more like their bigger more expensive dual line stunt kites. Total fun!

This is the first kite I have bought in years, and I love it. This kite is very durably and easy to fly. It is also easy to assemble. If you are looking for a kite, this is the manufacturer you want. This kite looks amazing when it is in the air, the colors are great.

Received the kite damaged. One of the tail attachment points were broken. I was able to fly with a 30ft replacement transition tail before I returned the kite. Kite flew fairly well. It needs a longer tail than what prism provides with the kite to fly it stable. Wing span to tail ratio is way off. I would recommend prism pica kite over Mantis. Mantis is the stretched version of the Pica.

Came with a 1 in hole in the top of kite. It was patched.

fantastic flying kite, nice flowing tale, good length of high quality string and the winder works well. I like the fact that everything you need to fly will go in the bag and the string attaches to the case. would buy again and probably will in another color.

This kite is a bit more expensive than some but so far has really been worth the money. Very lightweight, easy to put together, has survived multiple crashes, and *everyone* who sees it comments on how beautiful it is. Love it.

I had already purchased this kite in a kite store at the beach and loved it so much that I wanted a second one. Voila! I received it from Amazon in fine order. I highly recommend this easy-to-fly kite for kite enthusiasts or beginners!

Stay away from this product. Purchased this thinking it would be good considering its pretty expensive for a kite. Very cheap material rips even on grass. Will only fly with strong winds and even then it will nose dive down extremely fast.
