This screen protector is really very good, and I am a harsh critic. I waited a week before submitting a review, in order to test its durability just a little. Initial impressions were that it took a little time/effort to get the film to fold over the curved edges of my phone with no bubbles (1/2 day). The adapter that came with the kit made the install near perfect. Ever since the first day, this screen protector has been great, and better than the last 2 that I have installed on this phone. The install went smoothly, the touch sensitivity is great, fingerprint reading is good, smoothness is great, and coverage is great with no bubbles or lint. I suspect this will probably last 6 months or maybe more, which is good for a screen protector, as long as it remains functional. I will update if anything happens out of the ordinary. I recommend this screen protector for this phone.

What happened to screen protectors? It used to be that you would get a screen protector in a little package, stickied to a flimsy piece of paper, and the instructions were simply "Remove from film and apply. You may need to use a credit card to work out any bubbles." Now screen protectors feel like they come with 3D printers and an operation manual to apply. I felt like that when I received this, but quickly realized it was for good reason. This is a REALLY good screen protector, and it's much easier and more efficient to apply than any other I've used. It comes in a nice case, you get all the tools you need, clear instructions, a simple video, and the end product is fantastic. I was intimidated by the process on first look, but in reality it's very simple and very good. No bubbles, no fuss, and the bonus back protector was a nice touch! I have the One Plus 5G UW with the center back camera and left-positioned from camera and it works perfectly. Feels like the seller put some care and genuine thought into this one.

I've had smartphones for over 15 years, and every screen protector I ever tried would either not go on straight or would end up with dust and/or air bubbles trapped beneath it. I tried every trick I could find online to prevent this from happening, but nothing worked. When I got my new OnePlus 8, I once again hit the internet looking for screen protectors, and I came across the Ibywind brand. The reviews were good overall and the price was reasonable, so I decided to give it a try. The results were amazing! For the first time ever (no joke), the screen protector went on straight and without a single trapped air bubble or speck of dust on the first try. Normally I end up destroying a screen protector the first time I try to apply it, but not so with the Ibywind. The plastic plug-in for the USB port does a great job of keeping the screen protector aligned properly as you apply it. The non-skid pad for the phone is a brilliant idea, as it prevents the phone from moving around as you slide the squeegee along the screen protector during application. Also, as a nice plus, this screen protector works well with my Spigen phone case. I am able to take the case on and off without affecting the Ibywind screen protector. I highly recommend this product to all OnePlues 8 users.

Summary: Great product, Bad/Missing instructions I WROTE BETTER INSTRUCTIONS later in my comment. PROs: easier to install than most and better instructions than most, no bubbles if installed carefully (see my instructions), clever alignment tool, screen protector is smooth/slippery and doesn't feel rubbery, my Case (spigen ultra hybrid) didn't interfere/pop off the screen protector, fingerprint reader works well (once re-settup), smudges less than others I've used (hand oils), rear and camera protectors are a nice bonus. CONs: instructions aren't amazing (could be worse), Only 2 screen protectors :(, only 1 camera protector and it's plastic :(, only 1 back protector that doesn't go all the way to the edge and the carbon patern is a bit ugly :(. PROPER INSTRUCTIONS (so you don't get bubbles) : SCREEN: (1) Dust Is Your Enemy! Find a Clean and Bright space! (Examples: Kitchen counter/table, Bathroom Counter, Desk with lamp). Moving air stirs up dust so Turn off any fans in the room for a couple minutes and let the dust settle. Wipe down your work area (table) with a damp cloth (Just Water, cotton t-shirts work best) (2) Take of your case and Wipe down all sides of the phone with that damp cloth to get it clean, also wash your hands. (3) Insert the alignment tool (plastic positioner) into the charge port all the way, prongs on the screen side (you need to push pretty hard) (4) Set the phone down on the Rubber pad (5) Grab the accessories: Alcohol Wipe (no. 1) and Microfiber Cloth (no. 2), ignore the sticker (6) Wipe the screen with the Alcohol wipe Without unfolding it, and go over it a few times (save the wipe for the back and lens protectors). (7) Dry/Polish the screen with the microfiber cloth making sure to polish the whole screen until streaks go away (8) fold the cloth and wipe in straight lines from bottom to top away from the alignment tool to remove dust (9) check the screen is clean without touching the phone (look at the screen from the side of the phone/have your head at the edge of the table) If dusty repeat 8 (10) Grab Screen protector, attach it to the alignment tool and set it on screen (11) Lightly pull on the tab at the top of the screen protector and use the Squeegee to Gently wipe from the bottom of the screen protector to the top to align the protector (12) Follow the instructions they sent starting with "Step 8" (13) Use the squeegee to gently push any bubbles towards edge of screen protector (14) Use the microfiber cloth to gently but firmly press down the edges of the screen protector always wiping from the middle of the screen to the edge. CAMERA Protector: (1) Find a clean working space (Screen Step 1) (2) Find and grab camera protector, it is on a small piece of black plastic, do not remove plastic protector (3) Wipe the Camera Lense glass with the Alcohol wipe you used for the screen (4) Dry/polish the camera glass with the microfiber (5) Grab the sticker from the accessories pack and stick it to the camera firmly then remove it. (6) Remove the lense protector from the black plastic piece. bend the black plastic using the 2 tabs until the lense protector partially releases, then lift it the rest of the way off by lifting by the clear film. (7) Holding the lense protector by the clear film, line up the protector with the lense and press firmly. (8) Remove the plastic film and you are done. BACK Protector: (1) Find a clean working space (Screen Step 1) (2) Find and grab Back protector, and discard the small piece (it is just left over from making the camera/flash hole) (3) set down the phone on the rubber mat, and Wipe the Back Glass with the Alcohol wipe you used for the screen and camera lense (4) Dry/polish the back glass with the microfiber (5) Check to make sure the back glass is dust free (6) Peel the paper back halfway (peel the top), line up the camera with the hole (make sure its straight and even) then stick down around the camera. (7) Peel the the rest of the paper backing and stick the lower half of the protector (if it is not straight carefully partially peel up and re-stick) (8) Use the squeegee to press down the back protector and to remove air bubbles (if ii has bubbles carefully peel up and press back down with squeegee) (9)Use the microfiber cloth to gently press down the edges of the protector always wiping from the middle to the edge Admire your work :)

The installation of the screen protector was really easy with the plastic frame that was included to help fit it. The screen protector fits perfectly with the phone and there aren't any problems with bubbles or dust. The only negative thing I found with it is that the fingerprint sensor works a little bit slower than when I didn't have it on. There was also a camera protector and a carbon fiber printed sticker which was pretty cool. The camera lens protector didn't really work that well and was pretty hard to fit. The carbon fiber sticker was also pretty hard to apply, but when I got it right after a few tries. It makes makes your phone look really awesome and eliminates finger prints on the back glass.

This item is for my first curved screen cell phone. The installation system itself was the main draw. The installation guide plugs into the charging port. It kept the screen protector securely in place for the entire process, which is important for proper application and usage. 1. The screen protector has excellent sensitivity. It feels like the screen's second skin. 2. The printed instructions encourage you to watch the installation video first. The printed instructions have pictures that clearly step you through the process successfully. I reviewed the video after installation, and found that, while helpful, the printed instructions are equally good. 3. The squeegee that comes in the kit is high quality, not some flimsy credit card plastic. 4. The entire kit comes in a clamshell like plastic box. It keeps all the items securely together. You don't have to worry about misplacing the screen protectors, the squeegee, or the cleaner prep envelopes. I will buy my next screen protectors from this company in a heartbeat.

The screen protector was my cleanest and easiest installs to date. Not as fingerprint proof as the one I used to use, but since it's out of production who cares. The camera protector is garbage, it wouldn't stick properly and I couldn't get the air bubbles out of it. That said I don't care for camera protectors, they usually mess up how the phones take pictures. Screen protector is solid and super clear, no issues with the fingerprind detector/reader UPDATE!!!! Compared to other screen protectors I have used, these pick up scratches a little too easily. My other screen protectors were fine until my kids would throw my phone but this is off of regular pocket usage just scratched up.

Arrived when it said it would (with my other 2 purchased items), unlike a case I also ordered (from another seller) that instead of arriving today (with the rest of my order. Like it originally said it would, it was delayed for another 2 weeks without explaination), it'll be another 2 weeks. Anyway, installed screen protector exactly as instructions show. (literally no instructions whatsoever on how to install rear camera protector, or the skin they provide. Only half assed instructions for the main protector.). And no matter what I tried, cannot get all the bubbles out of it. Don't even know what the hell that little bottle thing is for. Instructions on its use is also very vague. Rear camera protector since it doesn't come with instructions. I accidently applied upside down (openings are for the flash, not the camera itself.) Gently peeled off (not before I chipped the corner) flipped and re-applied both corners have slight bubbling (upper right and Lower left). Cutouts are a smidge off as well. No matter what, cannot get those bubbles out. Checked camera, and so far doesn't seem to be effecting it in any adverse way. But it is OBVIOUS it's on there, so don't expect it to blend in like the screen protector does. It doesn't. It's better than nothing, but most the cost comes from the guide that doesn't really help all that much, and the fact you have a spare screen protector. Me and wife have same phones, so one for me (still have the one that came with a case I originally got for mine, but now need to replace as it broke. No notch for camera, but caused no issues. Still intact. So for me, the unused one will come in handy when time comes), and one for her (her original one (also came with one of the cases she got herself) shattered after son dropped it a while back. It did its job, her display itself l is still perfectly fine, same hardness as these, but different style (has black border to hide the edges) hence why I ordered this set) . Sadly only comes with one camera protector (put on hers, since 1: she uses her camera more than I use mine, and 2: son who borrows her phone all the time, has a bad habit of not watching where he's going, and dropping it often. So ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) and one of the skin things. But that's ok. For those saying it doesn't reach edge to edge, it's done on purpose, so it doesn't interfere with any case you may use (those that may overlap a tiny bit due to having a buffer between the case and display). Used to have a HTC U11 prior, that I got an invisible sheild protector for (those self healing, military grade tpu/plasticy types, that also requires wet application. Also ordered it from Amazon. It was top notch too, sadly just didn't work with my case. Those types tend to come with lifetime free replacements as well (if defective, don't work as advertised, peel without reason), I just never made a claim, but it was in fact worth every penny for the time it was on my prior phone) it covered the entire display edge to edge. I got it on their perfectly. However my case I had for it, made it come off in a week. Cuz it kept rubbing the edges of the protector, causing it to then start pealing off at the edges, collecting dust so it no longer stuck, etc. So these glass ones need to be slightly smaller (away from the edges) so a case doesn't interfere with it. It's not a defect. It's how most companies make these. 4 stars because instructions are vague/limited, and they focus mainly on the display install, none on how to apply the rear camera or skin comes with the kit, and the fact that if you encounter any bubbles, it will not completely go away, even if you gently peel it off again, and try to re-apply with less air trapped. So hopefully in a few days they will work themselves out (in some cases they do after a few days). But I just got and installed it today on wife's phone, so only time will tell. Box it all comes in is nice and premium looking, everything is nice and neat inside. Other than that, suppose it's worth the price. It shipped in the timeframe it claimed it would. So at least it has that going for it as well. Another thing about these types of protectors. Their job is to take the hit so your desplay itself doesn't. They are supposed to shatter/crack etc when absorbing impact. So, if you drop it, and it cracks. Don't be immediately alarmed thinking the display itself cracked, cuz that's how my wife's prior one looked, until we removed it, display was unscathed. It's not defective if it does it's job. That's how phone cases work too. Would you prefer the case to crack and break when absorbing a fall, or the device it's protecting, itself, to be damaged? Same concept.

Ok so 10 minutes in and this seems to be a premium product. The end result is flawless, almost like having no protector on at all. The touch experience is smooth, the only problem is the on-screen fingerprint detection which takes longer to register now. Certainly for unlocking, you have to keep your finger on the screen for a good 2 seconds whereas without it was instant. Providing bio info for apps seems better though. It's only a minor niggle. The provided instructions were clear and the kit easy to use. The provided frame guide for my OnePlus 8T was slightly too small and kept popping off but that was no problem, I only had to hold it down until I dropped the protector in place. Now for the bubbles. Like others have said you do end up with bubbles or patches that need rubbing clean and the only way seems to be to use the corner of a credit card wrapped in the polishing cloth and rubbing really hard. I ended up bending the corner of my card in the end I was putting so much pressure on but you really do need to disperse the bubbles or patches underneath until they fade away. 5 minutes elbow grease though and result is amazing. Happy so far and I have a spare just in case. There is an additional protector for the camera glass on the back too and also provided is a neat carbon fibre effect film for the entire back. I'm not sure how long this will last because it does wrap up the edges a little bit but it does afford additional protection and means you don't need a case. We'll see how long it lasts but it's good for now. (Edit. 4 days. It's too flimsy and the corners lifted. No real loss)

Anfangs war ich aufgrund der negativen Rezensionen skeptisch. Nach langem hin und her überlegen, habe ich mich doch dafür entschieden. Die Folie ist für mein OnePlus 8T, der leider gefallen ist und das Display etwas gerissen war. Um eine Verschlimmerung entgegenzuwirken, habe ich die Schutzfolie bestellt. Da ich schon in mehreren Geräten solche Folien anbringen konnte, war es für mich nichts Neues. Die Schutzpanzer-Folie (wenn es tatsächlich als Schutzpanzer deklariert werden kann) hat eine gute Qualität und macht einen robusten Eindruck. Für das Anbringen hat der Hersteller alles Notwendige dazu geliefert. Es gibt die Folie, ein Abstandshalter (damit die richtig mittig positioniert werden kann, ein feuchtes Reinigungstuch, ein hochwertiges Trockentuch (was auch später weiter verwendet werden kann), auf Aufkleber um kleine Staubkörner danach zu entfernen. Dazu gibt es noch eine Schutzfolie für das Kamera-Modul (was ich nicht genutzt habe), eine Tube mit Öl um gegebenenfalls die Schutzfolie seitlich an das Handy festzumachen (wenn es notwendig sein sollte, was bei mir nicht der Fall war) und eine Aufkleber-Schutzfolie für die Rückseite des Geräts (transparent mit Kevlar-Muster und restlos wieder entfernbar). Die Schutzfolie für die Rückseite sehe ich eher als Gimmick an, da es lediglich Schutz vor kleinere Kratzer bietet. Nun zu der eigentlichen Display-Schutzfolie. Selten konnte ich eine Schutzfolie so einfach anbringen! So easy, einfach und schnell, da war ich baff. Das Zentrieren ging ganz leicht und nach einem kurzen Fingerdruck in der Mitte, setzt sich die Folie wie von selbst und beginnt sich "anzuhaften". Auch ohne den mitgelieferten Öl steht keine einzige Ecke der Folie hoch und schließt nicht bündig. Dass die Folie etwas kleiner als mein Display ist, halte ich für normal, andernfalls könnte ich mein Cover für die Rückseite nicht anbringen. Bei der Benutzung empfinde ich die Folienkanten nicht als scharf, sondern angenehm wie als leicht abgerundet. Der Finger gleitet angenehm darüber. Und eine Folie habe ich für den Fall eines Falles noch als Reserve. Zuerst war ich wegen des Preises skeptisch, jetzt sage ich: "Ist das Geld auf jeden Fall wert!". Die Anbringung ist easy, viel Zubehör, gute Qualität und macht das Leben etwas leichter (anstatt mich mit der Anbringung ärgern zu müssen).
