Kaffree Roma, Plant-Based Original, 7 oz

Had to stop coffee/caffeine products. I tried the postum, didnt like at all. A funny film remains on the cup. This Kaffree Roma is really good. I drink it without sugar or creamer, and while I do make a little stronger than a teaspoon, the flavor is not overwhelming. I love a hot drink, and this fills the bill nicely. ENJOY

Great taste and it truly feels caffeine free. It does not give me the jitters like other caffeine free options.

I was skeptic in ordering this product but I started to read positive reviews and I was talked into buying. I am a person who loved coffee of any kind including expresso when I was able to enjoy a cup. I love the smell of coffee. I used to drink Postum but got tired of the taste and the price is very expensive. Then years ago I developed stomach ulcers from prescription drugs. I am not able to drink anything with caffeine including soda. Okay so I received this product today. I made a cup right away and tasted the flavor I have been missing for years. It was the taste of coffee!. I thought how did they do this.? Barley and Rye make coffee? The answer is yes the next best thing close to coffee. Anyone craving coffee and cannot have caffeine this is the product for you and for me. All I can say is I love it. The taste of this product is amazing. A cup of this coffee and my cookies were so good.

This beverage is very enjoyable. I look forward to drinking it each morning. It's not bitter and has a smooth taste. Aroma is mild and similar to an instant coffee. This is a good coffee substitute if you're looking to reduce your regular/decaf coffee consumption. I absolutely love coffee but have been having some GI issues so this has been a life saver as it is not acidic. Since it's caffeine free I can have a cup in the afternoon without worrying about it keeping me up at night. Also I feel a reduction in anxiety since stopping the caffeine. I have been drinking it black during the week and it's delicious on its own. On weekends I add a little plant based sweetened creamer and it's a real treat.

I found this to be extremely bland and not even close to a "real coffee" experience. However I also tried chicory which was way too bitter. Put the two together and you get a pretty good cup of almost coffee. How much of each product will produce what you are looking for will depend on how bitter you like your coffee. Try it, you might like it.

WOW, unreal! This stuff tastes like quality coffee. I have been looking forever for a coffee substitute to drink in the evenings. This does the trick, So happy. Thanks for making this caffeine free coffee.

It's very good! The taste is fine on it's own, I'm not sure I would drink it as is. I tend to use sweetener and cream. It's a good catalyst for creamers, both powdered and liquid. I would describe the taste as "like coffee but not quite". I would be able to tell this isn't coffee if given a blind taste test. I don't think it's as bitter as coffee, though other reviews say differently. To me, it feels like a unique hot drink I can enjoy without caffeine.

I tried this as my first "instant" experience, and while it dissolves very easily and creates a nice dark brew, the flavor wasn't what I was looking for. It has a very distinct roasted grain taste almost like toasted bread which is very different from the acidic, bold punch of real coffee. If you are looking to cut out caffeine entirely, this is a healthy, natural option, but if you want that classic coffee flavor, this might not satisfy your craving.

We've been using a coffee substitute that has been our go to for a while now. We tried many different kinds and settled on the go to. Then a friend offered me a drink of Kaffree Roma during a social event and on my first sip I went looking for her because I thought she misunderstood my request for a decaff drink and gave me real decaff coffee. No mistake......this is the closest to real coffee I've had yet. Ordered a jar, a few dollars more than our go to so we use it every other day to make it last. Great drink and very coffee like flavor for those still craving a coffee drink. Delivered fast.
