What is the description of this product? Is it a cleanser or detox or what?? Please describe.

Description It can also support removal of other toxins including herbicides (2), pesticides (3), radionuclides (4), mycotoxins (4), and pre-viral components (5). ZeoBind™ is made from a naturally occurring mineral known as clinoptilolite, which is a particular type of crystalline aluminosilicate in a family of compounds known as zeolites. Clinoptilolite is formed when volcanic molten lava comes in contact with seawater. The result is a 3-dimensional honeycomb-like molecular structure with a negative charge that is unique among minerals in nature. Most heavy metals and other xenobiotics have a positive charge. They are attracted to clinoptilolite's negative charge and an ion-exchange is readily performed (5). The toxic substances essentially become captive within the porous, sieve-like architecture of ZeoBind™ and are then shuttled out of the body via the feces or urine. ZeoBind™'s beneficial detoxification takes place primarily in the gut and in the enterohepatic circulatory system. The natural adsorptive and alkalizing properties of clinoptilolite support gastrointestinal health, and can be helpful in the prevention of dyspepsia, diarrhea, and ulcers, to normalize pH, adsorb bile acids and glucose, as well as remove potentially irritating and dangerous heavy metals and toxins (6). Research has also found that clinoptilolite demonstrates an antiproliferative effect on tumor cell growth in mice (7), can stimulate the immune system, and act as an antioxidant (7,8). Clinoptilolite and other similar zeolites have been used throughout history for a variety of purposes. In the construction industry they provide a lightweight, easy-to-cut material for building (4). They have been effectively used in water purification systems (4,9). They can serve as a natural deodorizer (4). They have been added to livestock feed to prevent the growth of molds and animal exposure to aflatoxins, and were found to have a positive effect on animal health (4). Clinoptilolite was also used to clean up radionuclides from nuclear waste fallout from the environment and in humans after the Chernobyl, Three Mile Island, and Fukushima disasters (4,10).

My bottle didn't come with a scoop. can anyone give me a reference for how big the scoops are? 1/4 tsp? 1/8 tsp?

The ZeoBind does not come with a scoop. On the label it states that the suggested serving is ½ teaspoon.

How long should you do this detox for?

As far as how long to detox: this is really individual to the persons level of health. For a general detox doing a 7 -10 day detox at least 4 times a year is considered a general preventative health goal. However, if someone has more compromised health, they might need to be detoxing actively for 6 months to a year. A general rule for ZeoBind is use 2 months on and then two months off. It is suggested to make sure one is also supplementing macro and micro minerals. During the 2 months off BioPure recommends Chlorella Pyrenoidosa. After the 2 months off if the person feels like a need to continue detoxing then start another round of using ZeoBind. BioPure highly suggest using Livessence with ZeoBind for the best detox results.

Flavorless and dissolves easily

Myself and my 4 children are taking this as part of a detox/parasite cleanse regimen. The kids have no problem taking it and so far we are seeing results with the cleanse. I’ve heard some bad things about the liquid nanoized zeolite and read this was a great brand. So far we are happy with it.

An excellent binder for toxins

This product is a great binder for toxins and like activated charcoal absorbs toxins. Clorella, also a good binder, is better at heavy metal absorption. Any of these three binders is great for absorbing toxins.

Zeobind Works!!!

I have been using zeolite Products for about three years with no adverse effects. When using these products you will notice that your urine in your feces will have a very bad odor. We started using the zeolite we notice a antibiotics odor like most people take anabiotic's you know the smell in the urine except that she has not had anabiotic's in over three years so yes I think it works. It's also used to remove viruses, cancer cell, heavy metals and bacteria's. Anyone that is sick should add this to their arsenal for heal!!!

Contains Mordenite

From my research, the best and safety zeolite for human consumption is zeolite clinoptilolite. This one contains mordenite. It's also a bit pricier than another brand I prefer, Zeo Health. Zeo Health is also only clinoptilolite.

Noticing the difference

Dissolves well in water, the taste is okay, doable, but the results-- pulling toxins, mold, etc, from my body amazing-- noticing the difference after just a week.

Prop 65 Warning

I am a bit disappointed because the label on the bottle includes a Prop 65 Warning! This product can expose you to chemicals including lead, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or reproductive harm. No where on the site photos or description was that mentioned. And I am unable to return. Waste of $$

Works well.

I will be using this product for awhile to detox from heavy metals and mold. I just bought my second bottle. It is pretty tasteless and blends well then other binders I have used. I am feeling the benefits and I would highly recommend this product.
