Knob/Pull Machine Screws 8/32 Thread (25 per Pack) Cabinet Door and Drawer Screws (Choose Your Size) by ZFBB (8-32 x 1 1/2")

I bought these to finish installation of some cabinet handles. (The supplied screws were too short for some drawers.)These tended to cam out easily. I suspect the threads are slightly out if spec — the force required increased as the screws were seated more deeply than. The hole. (I did not have his problem with store-bought packages if screws.) Also, the steel is weak - the heads became torn at lower levels of torque than I expected.Not recommended.

These screws are a common size used in cabinet knobs and drawer pulls, and they work great. When measuring, you want to choose a size that will leave about a quarter inch of screw sticking out for the knob to screw to. Anything much longer than that and the knob might not tighten all the way down.

I purchased these after buying new knobs for my closet doors. I knew the size that came with the knobs was way too short for what I needed. At Lowe’s, I bought the longest I could find, which was 1 1/2”. Got them home only to find doors themselves are that wide, which leaves nothing for the knob to grab onto. These were perfect! So, if you purchase kitchen cabinet knobs and need them to work on closet doors, perfect length here.

I needed to purchase these for kitchen cabinet drawers as the normal screws were sized without the additional drawer wood considered. These worked perfect for the purpose and did not get stripped at all. Also perfect size (as expected since we measured the expected length the screw needed to be).

Got them for my cabinet pull handle installs. The threads are good but the screw heads were smaller than expected. The heads on the ones I received were smaller than what is pictured. They were not really truss head machine screws but more pan/round head screws, so I had to use small washers to allow the heads to have a larger supported area otherwise risk pulling the heads into the drilled hole after tightening. Are good otherwise.

Bah. Someone needs to come up with an easier way to figure out what size screws you need for your knobs. These were the right length and went in for one turn but then stopped — the threading isn’t right. I think I will have to take the knobs to the hardware store and try out screws to find a fit.

Sometimes you just need a little longer screw than what comes with the pulls and handles and these worked perfectly.
