My old Central Vac quit and my husband found this one with all it's great revues! I am so happy he did. This Vacumn walks rings around my old brand named one! Very good suction, very simple to install and sucks 5X better than any other one I have used! I highly recommend this vacumn!

Vacuum malfunction
We started installing the vacuum and this week and came from manufacturing with a problem and does not working, the product was delivered without a test. The vacuum never work

Correction, This unit is great.
This unit works fine, Turns out that one of the pipes in the house was broken. In fact I think this one works better then the Pro.... unit we replaced for no reason. So We are tossing out the old unit and keeping this one.

It does not come with a built in port for direct connect of a hose but it does come with an inlet that is simple to install.
This thing is amazing. half the size of my previous Beam unit but twice the suction power with far less noise. It amazes me every time I use it. Best part is that it took all of 25 minutes to install. If you are on the fence between deciding on this unit or another brand, you won't be disappointed but most likely will be blown away by it's value if you purchase the CV300.

The best central vacuum.
Everything good, lots to like. Super quiet, great suction, smaller size, easy access to bag on the top. No plastic. I have used several other brands this one is the best!

It really sucks... like a powerful vacuum should.
I bought this to replace a vintage Nutone 350. Looking at the price/specs, I'd been planning on getting one of these when my nutone failed. Finally, it did. The Imperium CV300 has more power and makes less noise than the unit it replaced. It's easier to change the bags also. Design wise, the majority of the cost is in the motor. This unit is all about the motor, and the rest is made from simple sheet metal. It's made well, but you can see they are shooting for max power without extra costs. The extra valve to put near the unit is a nice addition. Good job CVS!
