Uni Jetstream Slim Compact, 3 Colors Ballpoint Pen (Black, Red, Blue) 0.5mm, Black Body (SXE3JSS05.24)

This pen has followed me from grad school to the professional world. Changing colors in note taking is super helpful, and I never had to scrounge for a red pen for grading exams and lab reports. This pen has the added advantage of not “feeling” like the multi-color pens we had as kids. It feels like a real, adult pen, and writes smoothly. I got a second one for my wife as a gift for starting a new job (part of a gift, there was more). She loves it just as much as I do.

I always always always carry a pen with me, no matter what. But the pens I generally prefer often leak ink when I fly, due to the change in pressure. Bought this to have in my pocket on vacation since we were flying and it was just fine. I'm normally not a big ballpoint pen fan but this worked fine for me.

I purchased this pen, because I needed a pen for my planner and I wanted it to be slim enough to fit in it's penholder. reviews said it was a scratchy pen, which is not true, it writes really nicely and smoothly. I only needed blue and red, so the fact that it is actually 2 - color pen does not disappoint me. pen is slim and I purchased another 2 pens after the initial purchase.

Writes well. Looks great. Is a light weight so depends on your preference. I would like it a lot heavier but I’ll still give it five stars.

Used this to update my nurses report throughout the day so I could see what I need to check up on, any changes, etc. I love how this pen is multicolored and not huge like the other ones. Feels like a regular pen when I write which I love and unlike with gels pens, I tend to write bigger in nicer handwriting but with this I’m still able to write nicer in a smaller writing which is something I’m not great at but I think it’s because of the fine point this pen is. I’m also a fidget type of person so the clickers on the side make it fun for me to fidget and think. I love it though and bought a back up. Now my go to!

Physically it feels fine in your hand. Some people get confused finding the black ink… it’s a short term problem. I deduct a few stars because the pen with such a narrow 0.5mm tip is difficult to use on some papers where it has a tendency to scratch and not roll. Sometimes this can happen when you don’t hold the pen in an upright position. I bought this pen to document field conditions on Rite-n-Rain weatherproof paper. It’s wonderful when it works and the fine tip allows for drawing accuracy but when it doesn’t work it’s very frustrating. I have decided that for my use the standard BIC multicolor pens with 0.7mm or larger work best.

I love this pen so much. I have owned the multi color bic pen and it dries out super fast. This pen writes very smoothly. Only complaint is how thin the ballpoint is but that’s my preference. Great quality and worth the price

The Uni jetstream 0.5 is sublime. The ink flow is smooth, glides across the paper and it is consistent - no hard starts, globing etc. The ink itself is a modern wonder. It is indelible, so waterproof, fade-resistant, and forgery-resistant. Excellent for important documents or simply journaling. Ballpoints also write on more surfaces than do gel pens, thinks receipts. Won’t smear/bleed under highlighters either - huge plus.

This is the greatest pen of all time. With it, I feel unstoppable.

Excellent Jetstream ink in an excellent thin-and-light body. Makes a great gift. Usually I think of multipens as tools for studying, but this is so stealthy that you could absolutely rock it as your main pen.
