Count Count Chocula
I bought this puzzle because I thought, “Hey, nostalgic cereal boxes, how hard could it be?” It’s like they took every cereal mascot from 1975 to 1987 and threw them into a 1000-piece blender. Fine. I like a challenge. What I wasn’t prepared for was the fact that these characters are having some kind of identity crisis. You’ve got Count Chocula. Okay, one Count Chocula, that’s normal. Two? A little suspicious. But by the time I found my fourth Count Chocula I started yelling at the puzzle like it was a bad stand-up act: “What is this guy, multiplying? Is he on every box? Did General Mills give him a timeshare in the cereal aisle?”And it’s not just him. The same toucan, the same tiger, the same little leprechaun keeps showing up like they’re all crashing the same party and nobody told them the theme was “be original.” I’m trying to build one coherent cereal box and suddenly it’s like a family reunion where every uncle looks exactly the same. The puzzle itself is high quality, the colors are vibrant, and it brings back memories of Saturday mornings with too much sugar. But the repetition makes it ridiculously hard. I spent twenty minutes connecting two pieces only to realize I was trying to attach Count Chocula’s cape to a completely different Count Chocula’s cape. They should call this thing “Count Chocula’s Revenge.”Would I recommend it? Absolutely. It’s hilarious, nostalgic, and it’ll make you question your sanity in the best possible way. Just don’t expect to finish it in one sitting unless you have a PhD in cereal mascot cloning.

Retro Cereal
It was fun doing this puzzle. All those sugary cereals from days gone by that my mother would never buy for me.
