Awesome gloves for handling metal
These gloves are amazing, as a welder/frabricator I use them for handling metal all the time and they haven't been worn down much with consistent use over like 8months and they are super comfy/form fitting. Only thing I would say is try not to get hydrolic fluid on them unless you plan on doing laundry.

Best balance of comfort/protection/dexterity/longevity.
The contractor I work for, in it's infinite wisdom decided to switch to level 4 cut protection. The new gloves suck BAD and they've tried out several different brands but those steel wires they add to level 4 cut protection will start to poke you regardless of brand. So I'm the wormy bast@rp who is buying his own gloves and sneaking them onto the jobsite because these things are PERFECT. They don't itch, they provide enough protection, they have great longevity, THEY DON'T STINK, and they're warm ENOUGH.If it's super cold/wet use the same glove size of PowerGrab thermal orange over the top of your MaxiFlex gloves. They fit great over the top and you have dexterity AND keep your hands warm down to about 10F with a 20mph wind which is pretty darned cold for gloves that you can still work with but that combo stays warm. They're not waterproof at all though so keep multiple pairs, you'll want to swap out for dry gloves twice per day in that kind of crap. Normal summer conditions I get about 6-8 weeks out of a pair of Maxi Flex before I blow a fingertip out which is a reasonable lifespan for 40-50 hour weeks.

My Favorite Gardening Gloves
These MaxiFlex Green Gloves are really great for so many purposes but my favorite use is gardening. I didn't know about them until some workers left a pair at our house by accident . . . lucky me! I couldn't believe how nice they were. They fit snuggly which makes fine-motor work like pulling tiny weeds so easy and they have a nice long cuff that goes up and over the end of your long sleeve. They really do fend off sharp things which is important in gardening. There are so many plants with thorns and sharp spikes that really hurt when they go through your glove and these really resist that. I highly recommend these green gloves . . . I always say "I need the green gloves!"

Best I've ever found with dexterity.
So much better than theMaxiFlex Ultimates which rip in the thumb/index crotch and I always wear through the fingertips on those same fingers within a weeks use or less. These MaxiFlex Cut I rotate 5 pair (clean pair everyday) and wash weekly. And put in the dryer for no more than 10 minutes in a garment bag with a full load or air dry if I can. They last me at least 4-5 months. I am a carpenter and always have them on I do heavy formwork bridge concrete construction, so they get a beating. If you work on the car with them just use your pumice orange cleaner wearing them, rinse good then wash as usual. Best I've found, and I've used dozens and dozens of brands. And you have the higher cut resistance and they don't bother my bad eczema I can get on my hands.

Tougher than MaxiFlex Ultimate, but slightly different fit
I’ve been using MaxiFlex Ultimate gloves for a couple years now. Not all the time, but when I do use them it’s all day, everyday, until that project is finished. The Ultimates are a great glove, but as others have mentioned they do wear out - holes at fingertips and the thumb-index crotch, also not cut resistant. I’ve recently had a need for cut resistant gloves and pulled out a pair of Great Whites that I had. The cuffs on those doesn’t conform to my wrists tightly enough, so debris kept getting inside the gloves. As I was wearing them out, I went looking for replacements and found these MaxiFlex Cut. I was excited to have the cut resistance in a glove I knew fit my hands right. Sadly the fit is not exactly like the Ultimates. The fingers on these Cut gloves are just ever so slightly longer, making fine work extremely difficult. Other than that, I love them! So I’ll keep them for things like demo work, and keep some Ultimates too for everyday stuff where I’ll need the dexterity at my fingertips. I realize everyone is built a little differently, I only hope this helps someone.

Great protection without losing dexterity
I use these gloves predominantly for gardening and handling sticks, branches, and wood cutting. I discovered them after a friend wore a pair while trimming up some trees during late fall cold weather in Oregon. I find them to be durable, comfortable and protective. I won't work outside anymore without a pair on my hands. My wife would like to have a pair as well, but have not been able to find a pair in the "Small" size.

Best cut resistant gloves on the market
The media could not be loaded. Typical high quality MaxiFlex. This is what professional HVAC journeymen use. You won’t be disappointed. Tight fitting, sensitivity, and durable.Fingertip coating will wear out over time if you abuse them or get duct sealant on them.I like them for camping. Some people use them for metal detecting digging. MaxiFlex is the industry standard, all others strive for their craftsmanship.
