Oil loss? This cheap part might help
I purchased this for my 2005 Prius at 250k miles. It was a quick and easy installation, and resolved a good portion of my oil loss issues. While old PCV valves can be cleaned, sometimes they can become clogged or worn to the point that there is no other option but to replace. A huge telltale sign is if you find a large pool of oil in your intake manifold. Thankfully, this valve is pretty cheap, and can fix some oil loss issues, which are a fairly common (but not necessarily Earth-shattering) problem with older Generation 2 Priuses. For me, this along with a new upstream and downstream sensor solved all of my oil loss problems. It was unfortunate, however, that a few months after, the hybrid battery began going out; had it not been for that, I believe it would have been able to make it another 250k miles.

2006 Scion xb
My Scion has 291,000 miles on it and still had the original pcv on it. It was long overdue. It was completely clogged with sludge. Cleared the engine light that kept popping up, and now with this new valve, the engine light doesn't come on anymore
