Orchid food
My Orchids seems happy. Just wish this came in larger size. One bag takes care of my Orchids once. Then I have to get more each time I fertilize. But have noticed a difference in my Orchids.

A little goes a long way
Have been using this for over a month on my cymbidium orchids and they look like they’re perking up nicely after their repotting. Mixed in about a teaspoon worth in 6” pots and bulbs and foliage are looking healthier with lots of new growth and new bulbs forming. Nice to be able to add this slow release orchid fertilizer to my pots to help reduce my maintenance routine of fertilizing lightly every watering. With this fertilizer a little goes a long way and I’ll post results of using this as my primary fertilizer after the spring season and hoping to get some spikes this year. Hard to say what the long term results will be But initial results looks promising. My grading scale My ratings are based on one or more of the following characteristics. Please note I consider 4 stars a very high rating. * 1 Star - unsatisfactory - poor quality - misleading or false ad copy - would not recommend to anyone * 2 Stars - below expectations, needs improvement - inferior materials And/Or design - poor value * 3 Stars - meets reasonable expectations of quality, design and durability at the price point * 4 Stars - Exceeded expectation - above average performance of materials, design and craftsmanship - good value - would recommend * Five stars - Truly outstanding - exceptional quality and design - exceeded all expectations of materials, design, craftsmanship, durability and value. Would recommend without any reservations 5 point rating scale: * 1 - Unsatisfactory * 2 - Needs improvement * 3 - Meets expectations * 4 - Exceeds expectations * 5 - Truly outstanding

Not recommended for orchids
This can burn orchid roots by giving them too much fertilizer at once when they are watered. You can use water then fertilizer safely with orchids. But fertilizer before they are watered can cause root burn. Slow release is not the best method for feeding orchids. Slow release fertilizers for cactus can work great with gymnocalycium cactus. And it can also work with peace lilies. But I do not recommend it with orchids. Especially not those with fine, delicate roots. Orchids require very tiny amounts of fertilizer. Light feeding weekly, except for when they are in bloom or in a rest cycle for that particular species of orchid. Orchids can be quite sensitive when it comes to fertilizer. And because of this they can burn easily.

Very good Orchid food!
I just started using this to feed my orchid and I believe that it is nourishing my plant. It’s growing a new healthy leaf! Good sign, in my opinion. I put a tsp of it on the top soil and, when I soak my orchid in warm water it sinks into the soil and reaches the root system. It’s easy, doesn’t need measuring or mixing. I love simple!

Easy application, bag lasts a long time
Purchased this product to feed to my orchids. So far I haven't seen much of a difference, but I also started using it after my flowers fell off. So I'm just waiting for my next bloom. Product itself says to use it every 5-6 months, so you'll definitely have this bag for a while (unless your house is just filled with orchids). Easy to apply as you just mix it in with your soil.

Works (tested). Perfect NPK ratio for strong growth.
Hard to find any slow release nutrients with equally high nitrogen to potassium. It works, and is very slow release. I feel as though it would not work well if not frequently watered or is not kept moist in the soil - the coating is very hard. I tested that they are releasing fertilizer by putting some granules in a jar of RO water for a few weeks, then testing the PPM of the water. They do in fact work. My only complaint is the price - it is fairly high. But, there are no other slow release fertilizers with a similar NPK ratio as far as I know. I could not find any others.
