Excellent product, Great customer service!
UPDATE: After my previous Update, I contacted customer service. I returned the original unit and they sent me a new one which I've now had for about a year and a half. I've used it extensively for camping and for power outages. It holds a charge wonderfully! I get about 5 nights use with CPAP machine plus charging hearing aids and phone! The first unit must have been defective. The second one works great!! Customer service was easy and hassle-free. I would highly recommend this product as a backup for power outages, camping and any other situation where a small power supply is needed!! Just received it yesterday. Charged it overnight. Used it to charge my phone and hearing aids. Worked great. Tried it on CPAP machine. Works well -- registers only 3-10 watts. Should get 4-5 nights use for CPAP on a single charge. Looks perfect for my anticipated uses -- camping and backup during power outages. Will update review after a three week camping trip later this month. Disappointing!!! Minimal usefulness during a four week camping trip. After a full charge, it operated my CPAP machine (humidity off, meter showing about 4 watts) for only 4hr 40min. Wasn't able to use this for anything but charging hearing aids and a phone -- 3 hrs of charging at 4.5 watts for 3 nights. This does NOT hold 296 Wh!!! It stops working when the meter shows 3 bars. Re-charges with solar in about 4 hours. But doesn't hold enough power to be useful for what I needed. Will contact seller/manufacturer and update review. UPDATE: After a few days use, charging each day, the battery has gone from bad to useless! Doesn't store enough power to charge even my cell phone at 4 watts. Westinghouse informed me that I have no warranty because the Amazon seller was not an authorized distributor even though it looked like I was buying from Amazon, which is an authorized distributor. BEWARE who you buy from. TOTALLY DECEPTIVE!!! Westinghouse does not stand by their products and their products are not both the plastic they're made of. Will update review after contacting Amazon.

Did not work when the power went out and I needed it most
The power goes out on my road several times a year. Last year I almost froze to death in my home so I purchased this. I had had a Stanley Fatmax but the last time I plugged a fan in it blew up and I could never get the support number to answer the phone so I decided on this. First of all, the directions assume you know what they are talking about and the videos tell you how great it is but they don't tell you the basics--like how to turn it on??? There are 2 outlets. It doesn't give you examples of what you can plug in. You are supposed to know the wattage of all your appliances, apparently. I charged it up, and the first time the power went out, it was daylight and I didn't need it so I didn't try it. I recharged it 3 months later (August 1 of this year) and put it back in the box. Two days ago the power went out again. It was a dark, drizzly day, so I decided to plug in a lamp and read a book. There is no on/off switch. I plugged in the lamp and nothing happened. There is a button above the outlets and also above the DC current outlets which you can push, so I pushed the one above the outlets, but no light went on or anything. How do you even know if it's on? Nothing happened. I started getting upset because after last year when my house was 32 degrees and I thought I would die, I told myself I had to be more prepared. I cannot afford a house generator and have nobody to help me install it or anything. I started crying, thinking that, as usual, everything I try to do turns out like this. I turned the headlight on and nothing happened. Five hours later the power finally came on. I plugged the unit in and watched it charge up fully. A little while later, before putting it back in the box, I decided to use it to charge my phone, and after a half hour I went to get my phone and it had never charged. I started looking for an on/off switch again, wondering what was going on. I pushed the headlight button. NOTHING HAPPENED. I feel completely betrayed. I have no idea if I will get my money back or what to do. I can't work any more because I got sick 2 years ago, and I am on Social Security, which pays my monthly bills and that's it. I used my savings to buy this thing.

Amazing product and must have
This is a great investment as this battery helps charge until 300w and is a life saver on trips to charge mobiles laptops etc. Value for money and good charging speed

Updated: decent. (Was: Not reliable )
Update: I returned the original to the manufacturer who replaced it at no charge and quick shipping. The new one has been working for a year with no problems. โโ This battery backup does not hold a charge. If left plugged in for a long duration (weeks) it will display that it is fully charged but it is not. The power went out at our house today. The unit displayed a full charge, but when I plugged our fireplace fan into it, it displayed a 32w AC draw and lasted only about 5 minutes. We also have a gas generator. I plugged the iGen300s into our gas generator to charge it. Once fully charged again, I unplugged it from the gas generator, then plugged our fan back into it. It again displayed a full charge and a 32w draw. This time it lasted just over 1 hour before it died. At the time it died, it still displayed that it was half charged. This means the battery which is only 2 months old has less than a 40wh capacity when it should have nearly 300wh. This has happened twice.

Garbage.
Firstly I'd like to say, Westinghouse is the only manufacturer that makes these generators rated at 120v instead of 110v. Not a big deal in most cases. AC current tends to fluctuate a little anyway but more sensitive electronics have a tendency not to operate properly if the current drops too low. This leads into my issue with this unit. I use it to power monolights and the draw from my 500 wattsecond lights pull 286 watts each for a fraction of a second depending on the duration of the flash. I should have known that 572 watts would be too close to the rated 600watt max on this unit. It causes a fault and the battery shuts down. Westinghouse did an excellent job with the protection circuit on these and it doesn't hurt the unit. It just shuts down and reverts to normal operating status after a few moments. Sadly a few moments I can't afford to lose when photographing live subjects. I have complete faith in this product and will be sending this one back for the next size up which I believe will be more than capable of handling my needs. Update 8-2-23. Amazon keeps sending me back to this review even though the link is for the larger unit I traded up to. I received the new larger 600s and charged it. When charged, I plugged in my flash units and turned on the AC power switch. Nothing! No power even though the unit indicated it was fully charged. I tried the DC outlets and no joy there either. I plugged the charger back in hoping it would charge up and start working but to no avail. I switched on the light and it came on but was pulsing. I decided it wasn't safe so I unplugged the unit and contacted Westinghouse customer support. I received an email the next day acknowledging they received my inquiry. It's been a week and they still haven't gotten back to me. Had to do a photoshoot without external flash. Very disappointing!

Stays on even when no power being drawn
What I needed is a power station that will stay on even when no power being drawn This works great for that. It powers the lights in the trailer and just because we turn off the lights this power station remains on so we can turn the lights back on Other power stations we tried turn off when the lights are turned offโฆ making those power stations useless

Pretty in Blue, power station IGEN300S
I put it through its paces for 3 days. Powers up a windmachine fan, portable radio and 32 inch TV and charges my cell and IPAD ! I bought the 300s as I do not require much in an emergency ( 296 Wh, 300 Running Watts, and 600 Peak Watts ) but WOW ! It will power my radio or tv for days and keep my cell phone charged ! Very happy with this power station, it will be nice to have in the next power outage. After reading some of your reviews I did some research. If you see LOC (locked) press the AC & DC buttons at the same time for 5 seconds, that'll unlock the power station. if the units not charging via the wall outlet , plug into your car chargr for 30 or so minutes to "kick start" the battery ie power station. These are not generators they are power stations, best used to power electronics. Know your volts and watts (of what you want to power) and purchase the appropriate size. EO6 Means you've overloaded the power station

Doesn't work
I now have used two iGen300's. Both have failed. The first failed after one use - worked to power a portable speaker for one tailgate. Attempted to recharge and it recharged to 100% in about 5 minutes - I knew that wasn't right. Died almost immediately after attempting to use it. Back and forth with customer service about why it failed, what did I do wrong? Are you kidding me? I got a bad unit. Please replace. To their credit, they finally agreed to replace the unit. Today I attempted to use the replacement unit for the first time. I had not charged the unit for 6 months or more, so when I attempted to use it, it would not power anything, even the built-in LED light. So I plugged it in to recharge. Similarly to the first unit, it recharged from 0% to 100% in what I thought was too little time (about 15 minutes.) I plugged two different USB devices in to charge (one in the regular USB port and one in the USB-C port.) Both devices begin to charge - cool! It's working, saying it's drawing about 6.5W. 10 minutes later I look over and the unit is dark. I thought maybe it had charged both USB devices to 100% and shut off automatically - not. Dead. At this point, I'm chalking it up to a bad purchase. Bad tech from a bad brand.
