Just fine, I cut into two 24” hinges. Worth noting that I bought another one, identical, for $12.95 today Home Depot.

Best price, perfect product. I bought this for a blanket chest that I made. I just cut the hinge to exact length with an angle grinder (any abrasive metal cutting blade will go through it like butter) and screwed it down. Hinge installation is not for everyone, but if you have the right vix bit and know what you are doing then this product will create a virtually indestructible and visually perfect hinge joint for your project. I would not be surprised if inexperienced consumers find it very difficult to install a piano hinge, and/or end up with poor results but that is not due to a problem with this hinge. I recommend creating something with scrap lumber that will allow you to clamp both sides of the workpiece into the exact alignment, then mark where the hinge needs to be. Depending on the workpiece, you may want to remove one side of the workpiece at that point if needed in order to use a straightedge to ensure the hinge is being is being fastened down in a perfectly straight line. Then clamp the workpiece back into position and fasten the other edge. That part is essential because it is super easy to introduce a slight curve to it, which results in a very poor hinge joint that will bind. Again, the installation issues are nothing specific to this hinge, but technique is critical to getting good results with any piano hinge.

This hinge is going to be used on the lid of a toy box for a grandchild. It is high quality and I have used this type before but they always came with hardware. Now for some reason the supplier has decided to cut costs and leave the brass screw purchase to the end user. Except for that, the product is high quality and priced right too.

The 72 inch piano hinge came with screws which worked perfect for what I intended to do. The item met my expectations perfectly, the installation was very easy.

I cut off both ends of the 48 inch hinge to evenly space the screw holes along my cabinet. I cut a 1/16" deep mortise on bothe the door and cabinet frame. I used a centering punch to locate each hole. I used a gimlet the start the screw holes. The brass color goes nicely with oak lumber. .

Nice hinge and have used them for years but the hinge holes should be beveled a little for the screw heads

It was a nightmare to find a piece of piano hinge long enough for our project. This was easy to cut to length and came with its own brass screws. Good quality.

These are not brass hinges. You pay for brass and you get cheap brass plated. Don't trust this company.
