I purchased this 20W solar panel kit to maintain the battery on one of my vehicles that doesn't get driven very often and it has worked exactly as I hoped. Everything felt well made out of quality materials and the installation process was simple enough to complete in a short amount of time. The panel itself feels sturdy and durable with a solid frame that is capable of handling different weather conditions. It has been exposed to sun, wind and a couple of rainy days without any issues and it continues to perform consistently well. It features a smart controller which takes care of several concerns of mine, including preventing the charger from short circuiting and over charging. I am able to monitor the charging status as indicated on the controller by two lights. It also features an adjustable mount that locks securely into place without any drilling or screws required, I just plug and play and it's ready to go. Overall, I am very pleased with its performance and the charging efficiency.

I ran it for a week in southern Arizona with mixed cloudy and sunny days, and at the end of the test the battery was sitting steady at 13.3V. I needed a reliable way to keep my spare vehicle's battery topped off without dragging an extension cord out to the driveway every few weeks. The kit arrived with everything necessary to get started right away. I was glad to confirm it comes with both alligator clips for temporary use and O-ring terminals for a more permanent installation. What really makes this setup work is the smart MPPT controller. There is one small detail to keep in mind before you install it. The cables running from the panel to the controller, and then to the battery, are a bit on the short side. If you plan to mount the solar panel high up on an RV roof or on a post away from the battery box, you will almost certainly need to buy an extension cable or splice in some extra wire of your own. It does exactly what I needed it to do. My battery stays consistently charged even after sitting untouched for weeks, and the whole system was straightforward to piece together.

I use this for to maintain a battery in the field that powers an electric fence. While it does not maintain it fully, I can leave it out there for several days without bringing it in for a full recharge. That is good enough for my purpose. I think It would keep a battery in a boat or a battery that was not being constantly in use charged with ease. We'll see about the longevity of the product.

I bought a new Hydraulic Dump Trailer and needed a way to keep the battery on the Hydraulic Unit charged, since I park it away from all the plugs I have. Every time I have checked the battery, it has had a full charge, even in the cloudy days. It doesn't take much sunlight to keep it charged. The wiring is simple and the installation is super easy, especially with the instructions included. The length of the charging cable that came with it is very long. I am thinking of ordering one for my lawn mower and my motorcycle. The charging panel that tells the charge on the battery is really easy to understand also. I will give it the 5 star recommendation.

Hooked this up with the little alligator clips and it started topping off the battery immediately. The waterproof box feels totally legit so I don't have to stress when it rains. Super clutch for keeping stuff charged without running an annoying extension cord across the yard.

Easy to hook up and a fully charge my ATV works great . I have no electricity in my pole barn and now I can steal my quad in there and charge it at the same time.

This works great out of the box. For the price I was a little concerned, but now I am very happy. There are good instruction for operation, and when I gave it atest on a cloudy day it had 14.6 V at the battery connections. The battery was dead and reading 0 volts when i started the test, 2 hours later, through the clouds, and the battery was at 9.6 V. Can't wait to give it a try on the camper to see how much it will charge the batteries during a full day.

Works as stated. Good value. I use it to trickle feed my motorhome starter battery while it is stored. The cables are a fair length for most; however, I did need to extend mine because I wanted it on the roof of the motorhome where it was in the sun all day and not sitting on the ground. It does come with a handy bracket that can be used as a stable stand, or for mounting somewhere. It also has a controller to make sure it doesn't over-charge. I'll see how it goes for a few months and update the review if need be.
