Decopolitan Cap Curtain Holdback, Nickel

These were much nicer than I expected, super easy to install and they look and work great! Note that the knob on the end is plastic not metal but you only notice if you touch it. I recently ditched my ugly old blinds and put up new curtains so wanted a way to easily pull back the curtains during the day to let lots of light and air in. These were exactly what I needed and I highly recommend them.I bought one set for my bedroom and then bought a second pair for two different windows where I only need to pull back one side of the drapes since the other side of the drape is behind something (TV in the living room, cat post in the bedroom).NOTE: when installing the screw further in on the holdback just twist off the knob at the end. Then you can have a straight line for your screwdriver or drill and won't be putting the screw in at an angle! Screws and wall anchors are included with the holdbacks. I had mine installed in minutes.

These were a really nice surprise in quality, especially for the price. They provide a simple decor option to hold back curtains. They are sturdy, easy to install, and hold back double panels per pullback for us. Very pleased with purchase, definitely recommend.

Cheap and does the job! I have a super tiny window in my room (NYC apartment) and wanted to make it look a little nicer. I had to put the curtain pullbacks inside the windowsill because of lack of space, so I had to turn them the other way but it actually still looks nice. I used Command strips to hang them so I didn't have to leave holes in my rented walls.

You definitely get what you pay for... They are a pair. They are metal. But they certainly aren't satin nickel. They are painted silver. They spend most of their time behind the curtains so I guess it doesn't freaky matter. But if you have an ounce of any anal retentive tendencies, these will drive you completely insane because they do not match ANY satin nickel or brushed metal look of curtain hard ware.

These holdbacks are quite sturdy and come with decent mounting hardware. They would be ideal for matching to thicker rods of similar finish with either round rod ends or even some squared ones.I generally don't trust the style of molly most holdbacks and rods ship with. I instead use a screw-in type plastic molly such as an "E-Z Ancor" to ensure a more solid hold with no eventual sag in dry wall on jobs like this. But since that has to do with the hardware and not the product, I see no value in decreasing a star for that.

I first got them and there were large scratches on both sides of both pieces. I told them and I was able to send them back free of charge and they sent me a new set right away. The new set had smaller scratches but still there. I sent them back again and was charged to send it back. Wouldnt buy again - 2x and both sets scratched
