HiWave BMR12 Compact 2" Full-Range Square Speaker 12W 8 Ohm

I've purchased 2 sets of these now for small speaker box projects. Clear crisp sound and surprising surround and base for the size. One set is running on a 5V DC board with decent sound all the way to the top. Another is running on a 12V, they distort and the extreme high end of volume but still handle the load without risk of damage. A little pricey but the ease of installation and quality make it worth it.

I'm really not that impressed with the volume or the sound quality. They sound decent but not spectacular.

The bmr12 has a certain clarity in the mid to high that is normally absent from a cheap speaker, they also are highly directional allowing for better left and right stereo separation. The bass isn't huge but with good speaker boxes is more then adequate.

I bought this for a boom box of my making, it may not hit twelve with out distortion (it is very close) , but it is exactly as advertised. Good quality, works well I use it above the 12 RMS rating.

Superb little kicker! I bought eight of them, back when the price was less conservative ;) and made me a ported ∑=20 Watt, portable, Bluetooth 4.0 speaker w/power bank. It is very impressive to hear how this little drive reproduces string instrument sounds. Add a bass port or, some passive radiators to the box and then it feels as if the whole band plays next to you ;)

Amazing speakers for their size

I made some enclosure for these and I'm very impressed how they sounded, they have 2 in each enclosure, very smooth response very good room filling bass response I would recommend this to anyone looking for a small project.

I use them for Halloween propsand they really easy to hide. Great quality for the price.
